The present disclosure relates to a rechargeable battery including an electrode assembly that includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, a first electrode tab that is electrically connected with the first electrode, and includes at least one first bent portion, a second electrode tab that is electrically connected with the second electrode, and includes at least one second bent portion, and exterior member that receives the electrode assembly, and a reinforcement member that is disposed in the first exterior member, while being disposed adjacent to at least one of the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab.

A packaging material for a power storage device, comprising at least: a substrate layer; a metallic foil layer with an anti-corrosion treatment layer being disposed on one face or both faces thereof; and a sealant layer in this order, wherein the sealant layer includes a polypropylene-based resin (A) and 1 to 40% by mass of incompatible component (B), and maximum seal strength S.sub.M in an adhered portion resulting from adhesion by heat-sealing the packaging material is 35 N/15 mm or more, and in addition, the packaging material for a power storage device satisfies the following requirements (1) or (2): (1) a ratio S.sub.S/S.sub.M of seal strength S.sub.S to maximum seal strength S.sub.M in a stable range is 0.3 or more; (2) a ratio S.sub.A/S.sub.M of average seal strength S.sub.A to maximum seal strength S.sub.M is 0.3 or more.

A rechargeable battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly; a case for receiving the electrode assembly; a cap plate combined to an opening of the case to close and seal an inside of the case and including a plurality of vent units; an elevation member penetrated and installed in the cap plate and moving by an internal pressure of the case; and a plurality of vent plates for closing and sealing the respective vent units, wherein the vent plate is connected to the elevation member through a connection member and links to the elevation member.

A rechargeable battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly; a case for receiving the electrode assembly; a cap plate combined to an opening of the case to close and seal an inside of the case and including a plurality of vent units; an elevation member penetrated and installed in the cap plate and moving by an internal pressure of the case; and a plurality of vent plates for closing and sealing the respective vent units, wherein the vent plate is connected to the elevation member through a connection member and links to the elevation member.
BATTERY CELL SEALING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a battery cell sealing device for sealing a pouch of a battery cell, more particularly, to a battery cell sealing device configured to be capable of simultaneously sealing a plurality of battery cells accommodated in one chamber to be able to increase production or processing capacity of the battery cells in one chamber and accordingly, decrease cost of an entire equipment.

A power storage device includes: a modular structure including at least one power storage module, the power storage module having an electrode stacked body and a sealing member, the electrode stacked body having bipolar electrodes, and the sealing member sealing a side surface of the electrode stacked body; a pair of restraint members disposed at both ends of the modular structure in the first direction to apply a restraint load to the modular structure; and a first intermediate member interposed between the restraint member and the modular structure to transmit the restraint load from the restraint member to the modular structure, wherein the first intermediate member includes a first package that is deformable according to the restraint load and a fluid that is enclosed in the first package.

Method for Manufacturing Electrode Lead and Pouch Type Secondary Battery
Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing an electrode lead. The method may include manufacturing each of a first electrode lead and a second electrode lead, bonding the first electrode lead to the second electrode lead form a connection part. Manufacturing the first electrode lead may include unwinding a first metal plate from a first metal reel, attaching a first tape to perform masking on a first connection area to form the connection part, plating and surface treating on the first metal plate, and removing the first tape. Manufacturing the second electrode lead may include unwinding a second metal plate from a second metal reel, attaching a second tape to perform masking on a second connection area to form the connection part, plating and surface treating the second metal plate, and removing the second tape.
