A battery module includes secondary battery cells; a one positive current collector structure; and a negative current collector structure; wherein the secondary battery cells include an electrode assembly, a positive terminal electrically, a negative terminal, and a case receiving the electrode assembly, the positive current collector structure interconnects the positive terminals of the secondary battery cells, the negative current collector structure interconnects the negative terminals of the secondary battery cells, the case of each secondary battery cell includes a groove extending around a circumference of the case and forming a part of the negative terminal, and the negative current collector structure includes a flat negative busbar in a plane aligned with the circumference of the case, the flat negative busbar projecting into the groove of the cases to connect the negative current collector structure and the negative terminals of secondary battery cells.
BATTERY MODULE AND BATTERY PACK HAVING BATTERY MODULE
A battery module includes a cell assembly including a plurality of battery cells, and a module housing having an arrangement space for accommodating the cell assembly and a cover plate covering a top surface of the cell assembly. The cover plate has at least one discharge hole for discharging gas generated in the cell assembly. A blocking member is disposed between the top surface of the cell assembly and the cover plate to block flame or a combustion material from being discharged externally of the module housing through the discharge hole.

A battery module includes a cell assembly including a plurality of battery cells, and a module housing having an arrangement space for accommodating the cell assembly and a cover plate covering a top surface of the cell assembly. A blocking member is disposed between the top surface of the cell assembly and the cover plate to block flame or a combustion material from being discharged externally of the module housing through the discharge hole.

A battery housing includes an electrical cavity configured to accommodate battery cells. At least one battery cell includes a pressure relief mechanism configured to be actuated in response to internal pressure or temperature of the at least one battery cell reaching a threshold to relieve the internal pressure. The housing further includes a collection cavity configured to collect emissions from the at least one battery cell in response to the pressure relief mechanism being actuated, a separation component configured to separate the electrical cavity and the collection cavity, a partition structure configured to partition the collection cavity into a first cavity and a second cavity, and a flow channel baffle arranged in the second cavity and configured to form a flow channel for guiding the emissions. The partition structure is provided with an exhaust vent configured to guide the emissions in the first cavity into the second cavity.

A battery module includes: a battery stack having a plurality of batteries; a plurality of first restraining members and a plurality of second restraining members; and connecting members. The first restraining members and the second restraining members define a housing space for the battery stack. Each of the first restraining members has a first housing part extending in a direction intersecting a planar direction in which the battery stack, the first restraining members, and the second restraining members are arranged, and each of the second restraining members has a second housing part extending in the planar direction. Each of the connecting members connects each of the first restraining members and each of the second restraining members to each other by being housed in the first housing part of each of the first restraining members and in the second housing part of each of the second restraining members.

A battery module includes: a battery stack having a plurality of batteries; a plurality of first restraining members and a plurality of second restraining members; and connecting members. The first restraining members and the second restraining members define a housing space for the battery stack. Each of the first restraining members has a first housing part extending in a direction intersecting a planar direction in which the battery stack, the first restraining members, and the second restraining members are arranged, and each of the second restraining members has a second housing part extending in the planar direction. Each of the connecting members connects each of the first restraining members and each of the second restraining members to each other by being housed in the first housing part of each of the first restraining members and in the second housing part of each of the second restraining members.

A battery module includes: a cell stack including a plurality of unit cells arranged in a first direction; and an insulating member around the plurality of unit cells; a plurality of module housings, each of the module housings including a plurality of receiving parts and receiving the cell stack; and a coupling part, and each of the receiving parts includes a fixing wall around the cell stack and having at least a portion which is in contact with the cell stack, and the fixing wall includes end walls at respective sides of each of the receiving parts in the first direction to engage end surfaces of respective sides of the cell stack in the first direction, and the coupling part is configured to be coupled to the coupling part of an adjacent battery module.
BATTERY STORAGE SYSTEM
A battery system includes a battery receiving device and a plurality of battery units. Each battery unit can be coupled bidirectionally and inductively to one another and/or to the receiving device for charging/discharging. The receiving device can be connected to an external electrical energy source and/or sink. Each battery unit includes a coil unit. The receiving device has a storage seat for each battery unit removable with a magnetically complementary connectable coil unit for inserting/removing a battery unit without tools. The coil unit has a single coil which is substantially shaped as an elliptical, elongated flat coil, arranged in a half-shell housing and embedded in a ferrite core half-shell of ferrite elements, with a coil unit ratio of thickness to length/width of at least 1:5. The coil unit of the battery unit and receiving device are formed mechanically separable with a maximum distance between the coil units of 110 mm.

The modular ESS structure includes two or more electrical energy storage modules, the modular ESS structure extending in a longitudinal direction, in a transverse direction and in a vertical direction, the longitudinal direction coinciding with a driving direction of the vehicle, the two or more electrical energy storage modules being arranged side-by-side in the transverse direction , in the longitudinal direction and/or in the vertical direction and being connected to each other structurally and electrically. The modular ESS structure comprises a first mounting interface comprising one or more first connecting members configured for mounting to a vehicle structure.

The separator includes a first separator (13) and a second separator (14). A gap is provided between the first separator (13) and the second separator (14).
