BATTERY HOUSING FOR COUPLING TO MULTIPLE DIFFERENT BATTERY TYPES
A battery housing is disclosed that includes a multi-battery configuration based on a common battery cradle that can support two different battery types such that batteries of a first and a second type may be utilized to supply power to a device in an alternative/interchangeable fashion. Therefore, a user/operator of a device may then select batteries of the first type, or the second type, such that the battery housing includes only batteries of the first or second type during operation of the device, but not both.

A battery housing is disclosed that includes a multi-battery configuration based on a common battery cradle that can support two different battery types such that batteries of a first and a second type may be utilized to supply power to a device in an alternative/interchangeable fashion. Therefore, a user/operator of a device may then select batteries of the first type, or the second type, such that the battery housing includes only batteries of the first or second type during operation of the device, but not both.
Modular Battery Systems for Aircraft
A modular battery system provides propulsive power to the rotor system of an aircraft. The modular battery system includes an array of battery modules arranged in at least one stack. Each battery module includes a plurality of battery cells, a first side having positive and negative receptacles and a second side, that is opposite of the first side, having positive and negative plugs. The receptacles and plugs are configured such that adjacent battery modules in a side-by-side relationship are electrically coupled together via plug and receptacle connections and such that the battery modules are electrically coupled together in parallel. An interconnection electrically couples each stack of battery modules together via plug and receptacle connections with one of the battery modules in each stack such that the stacks of battery modules are electrically coupled together in parallel.
Battery pack adapter for power tools
A battery pack adapter system includes a device that allows different sized and shaped battery packs to be converted for use with multiple power tools from different brands. In one embodiment, a drill battery and drill are joined together through means of the battery pack adapter device. This allows the drill battery to power the drill even though the battery and drill have different configurations. The battery pack adapter device includes metal electrical connectors that extend from a top end of the device towards a bottom end of the device. The metal electrical connectors transfer the electrical energy from the battery to the power tool through by means of the adapter.

An adapter for use with a battery compartment of an electronic device is provided. The adapter includes a first section adapted to receive a first portion of at least one first battery. The adapter also includes a second section disposed adjacent to the first section. The second section is adapted to receive a second portion of the at least one first battery. The adapter further includes an articulating joint disposed between the first section and the second section. The articulating joint is adapted to selectively articulate the first section relative to the second section to move the adapter between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the adapter is adapted to be aligned in the battery compartment. In the second position, the adapter is adapted to be removably secured in the battery compartment.

An adapter for use with a battery compartment of an electronic device is provided. The adapter includes a first section adapted to receive a first portion of at least one first battery. The adapter also includes a second section disposed adjacent to the first section. The second section is adapted to receive a second portion of the at least one first battery. The adapter further includes an articulating joint disposed between the first section and the second section. The articulating joint is adapted to selectively articulate the first section relative to the second section to move the adapter between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the adapter is adapted to be aligned in the battery compartment. In the second position, the adapter is adapted to be removably secured in the battery compartment.

A battery case includes: a first battery accommodating portion accommodating at least one first battery; a second battery accommodating portion arranged apart from the first battery accommodating portion and accommodating at least one second battery serially connected with the at least one first battery; a rail arranged between the first battery accommodating portion and the second battery accommodating portion; and a structure configured to move along the rail between the first battery accommodating portion and the second battery accommodating portion and prevent contact between same terminals of the at least one first battery and the at least one second battery at a point at which the at least one first battery and the at least one second battery touch each other.

The battery adapter assembly (1) comprises a battery adapter (5) configured to be connected to a battery connection interface (7) of the power tool (3), and a power cord (9) comprising a first end (11) connected to the battery adapter (5) and a second end (12) for connection to a power supply (27). The power cord (9) comprises at least a first fixation element (21) configured to fixate the power cord (9) to a cord holding arrangement (15) of the power tool (3). The present disclosure further relates to a hand-held power tool (3).
