A battery pack that includes an enclosure having at least four sidewalls and a base. An array of cells is arranged on the base, with each of the cells having a large wall surface and a small wall surface. The cells are arranged such that the large wall surfaces are parallel to each other. Components of the enclosure are made from an extrusion process and are mechanically attached or welded together. A base of the enclosure has fluid channels formed from the extrusion for use in cooling the array of cells.

A battery pack including a housing having a first portion and a second portion coupled to the first portion. The first portion has a first wall and an interface extends from the first wall. The interface includes a plurality of terminal apertures that provide access to electrical terminals within the housing. A first plurality of vents extends through the first wall and a second plurality of vents extends through the second wall. A cumulative surface area of the first plurality of vents is different than a cumulative surface area of the second plurality of vents.

A cumulative surface area of the first plurality of vents is different than a cumulative surface area of the second plurality of vents.

A battery module includes battery stack (2) including a plurality of stacked battery cells (1), a pair of end plates (3) disposed at both end parts in a stacking direction of battery stack (2), bind bar (4) in which the pair of end plates (3) are coupled, and electronic circuit block (6) mounted with voltage detection circuit (22) that detects a voltage of battery cells (1). Electronic circuit block (6) is disposed on an outer surface of both end plates (3) disposed at both end parts of battery stack (2), and electronic circuit block (6) is connected to battery cells (1) via voltage detection line (19).

BATTERY MODULE FOR ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN AIRCRAFT

A battery module can include multiple battery cells, multiple cell tubes, and a first plate. The multiple cell tubes can accommodate the multiple battery cells within the plurality of cell tubes so that individual of the plurality of battery cells are positioned within individual of the plurality of cell tubes. Each battery cell can have a first electric pole and a second electric pole. The first plate can include a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board can include a first conductive layer and an isolating layer. The isolating layer can include at least one blind hole for wire-bonding the conductive layer to one of the battery cells.

A battery module can include multiple battery cells, multiple cell tubes, and a first plate. The multiple cell tubes can accommodate the multiple battery cells within the plurality of cell tubes so that individual of the plurality of battery cells are positioned within individual of the plurality of cell tubes. Each battery cell can have a first electric pole and a second electric pole. The first plate can include a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board can include a first conductive layer and an isolating layer. A battery wiring module is to be attached to multiple battery cells being long in a front-rear direction and including electrode leads at front ends and rear ends of the multiple battery cells to electrically connect the multiple battery cells. The battery wiring module includes a first busbar module to be attached to a front section of the multiple battery cells and a second busbar module that is a separate component from the first busbar module and to be attached to a rear section of the multiple battery cells. The first busbar module includes first busbars that are to be connected to the electrode leads protruding frontward from the multiple battery cells, a first flexible printed circuit board that is to be connected to the first busbars, and a first protector that holds the first busbars and the first flexible printed circuit board.
