A breathable stationary bicycle shoe for use with a stationary bicycle. The bicycle shoe of the present disclosure may preferably include a breathable lightweight mesh upper, allowing for greater breathability and comfort compared to existing bicycle shoes. The breathable stationary bicycle shoe may comprise a bottom portion equipped with a cleat, such as a clipless bicycle pedal cleat, such as an SPD® cleat, which may allow it to securely connect to the pedals of a stationary bike.

A protective footwear includes a foot engagement portion, a lower-leg engagement portion, and a cable closure system. The lower-leg engagement portion defines a cable end interface and a buckle interface. The cable closure system is configured to facilitate at least partially securing the protective footwear to a leg of a wearer. The cable closure system includes a buckle assembly configured to releasably couple to the buckle interface and a cable extending between the cable end interface and the buckle assembly. The cable has a first end coupled to the cable end interface and an opposing second end coupled to the buckle assembly.

Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.

Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. Aspects of the invention can be directed to a boot including a sole portion, a lower portion, and a boot shaft portion. The sole portion, the lower portion and the boot shaft portion can be formed as a unitary member composed of a single compound. The wherein the single compound can include: EVA in the range of 17% to 27%, POE in the range of 6% to 16%, SEBS in the range of 10% to 20%, and rubber in the range of 19% to 29%.

An insole for an article of footwear includes an insole support and a side-emitting optical light tube on the insole support member. The insole support member includes a top surface and a bottom surface where the top surface faces towards a wearer’s foot when the insole is positioned in the article of footwear and the article of footwear is worn. The side-emitting optical light tube is configured to project radiation having a therapeutic wavelength through the side-emitting optical tube and toward the wearer’s foot. The side-emitting optical light tube includes a side-emitting optical fiber and a jacket made from a light-transmissive material at least partially surrounding the side-emitting optical fiber.

An insole for an article of footwear includes an insole support and a side-emitting optical light tube on the insole support member. The insole support member includes a top surface and a bottom surface where the top surface faces towards a wearer’s foot when the insole is positioned in the article of footwear and the article of footwear is worn. The side-emitting optical light tube is configured to project radiation having a therapeutic wavelength through the side-emitting optical tube and toward the wearer’s foot. The side-emitting optical light tube includes a side-emitting optical fiber and a jacket made from a light-transmissive material at least partially surrounding the side-emitting optical fiber.

Footwear with a heel portion having a clasp member with resilient arms having locking tabs that engage with locking slots in a receptacle member in a main portion, when the heel portion abuts against the main Portion. The locking tabs disengage from the locking slots when simultaneously squeezed together by a tool that extends through locking tab access holes on both sides of the main portion. The locking tab access holes are too small for a child's fingers to enter. The clasp member and receptacle member can be in either the heel portion or the main portion.

A wearable cleaning apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a shoe type assembly adapted to be worn on a user's foot, and a sole assembly attached to the shoe type assembly. The sole assembly is adapted to engage a ground surface, comprises at least partially raised heel portion and a scraper extending between a metatarsal portion and a toe portion of the sole assembly. The heel portion comprises a plurality of grooves, and the scraper comprises a plurality of bristles. The partially raised heel portion having a plurality of grooves is adapted to provide stability to the user while using said apparatus. The apparatus is adapted to easily move in a direction parallel to the ground surface while applying pressure with user's body weight whereby the plurality of bristles of the apparatus frictionally engage the ground surface to be cleaned.
