The electrochemical cell further includes a contact sheet metal member in direct contact with a protruding longitudinal edge of the anode current collector or the cathode current collector. In addition, the electrochemical cell includes a housing, a sensor apparatus configured detect changes in a state of the winding, and a display and/or a contact configured to display measured values and/or via which the measured values can be transmitted.

Provided are a preparation method of a current collector assembly, a current collector assembly, a battery cell, and a battery pack. The preparation method of the current collector assembly includes: abutting the at least one of the connection plate or the protection plate having the protrusion against the plurality of tabs; generating a high-frequency vibration between the at least one of the connection plate or the protection plate having the protrusion and the plurality of tabs; and piercing the plurality of tabs sequentially by the protrusion through the high-frequency vibration. A vibration frequency of the high-frequency vibration ranges from 15 KHz to 40 KHz.

Provided are a preparation method of a current collector assembly, a current collector assembly, a battery cell, and a battery pack. The preparation method of the current collector assembly includes: abutting the at least one of the connection plate or the protection plate having the protrusion against the plurality of tabs; generating a high-frequency vibration between the at least one of the connection plate or the protection plate having the protrusion and the plurality of tabs; and piercing the plurality of tabs sequentially by the protrusion through the high-frequency vibration. A vibration frequency of the high-frequency vibration ranges from 15 KHz to 40 KHz.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
A rechargeable battery includes: an electrode assembly including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a case that is connected to the first electrode to accommodate the electrode assembly and includes an opening exposing the electrode assembly; a cap plate configured to be coupled with the case to cover an outer area of the opening, and configured to include a through-hole exposing a central area of the opening; and a terminal plate that is insulation-bonded to the cap plate to cover the through-hole and is connected to the second electrode, wherein the terminal plate includes a first plate and a second plate.

The present disclosure provides a battery module including a center cartridge assembly, on which a plurality of battery cells are arrayed and seated, including a cooling plate inner installed therein and configured to cool a part of each of the battery cells, a side cooling cover assembly which is coupled to two sides of the center cartridge assembly to protect the battery cells seated on the center cartridge assembly and includes a cooling plate outer attached thereto and configured to cool a part of each of the battery cells, and a busbar housing assembly which is coupled to an upper portion of the center cartridge assembly and includes one or more output busbars installed thereon and configured to be electrically connected to an electrode exposed at an upper portion of each of the battery cells.
Rectangular secondary battery
Provided is a rectangular secondary battery with improved rigidity against vibrations and impacts. A rectangular secondary battery of the present invention includes: a flat-shaped electrode group; a current-collecting plate electrically connected to the electrode group; a battery case accommodating the current-collecting plate and the electrode group; a battery cover that closes an opening of the battery case; an electrode terminal penetrating through the battery cover, the electrode terminal being connected to the current-collecting plate via a connecting member; and a gasket that is inserted between the electrode terminal and the battery cover for insulating and sealing. An insulator is disposed between the current-collecting plate and the battery cover, the battery cover includes a battery cover side fixing part that fixes the insulator, and the insulator includes a current-collecting plate side fixing part that fixes the current-collecting plate.
Rectangular secondary battery
Provided is a rectangular secondary battery with improved rigidity against vibrations and impacts.
