An electrode assembly having an improved connection structure between electrode tabs includes: an electrode laminate including a plurality of unit cells, each unit cell of the plurality of unit cells formed of a positive electrode having an electrode tab extending from an end thereof, a negative electrode having an electrode tab extending from an end thereof, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a conductive adhesion portion connecting the electrode tabs of the positive electrode to each other or connecting the electrode tabs of the negative electrode to each other, wherein the conductive adhesion portion includes a safety element material, and wherein the safety element material is applied in the form of a slurry.
PTC heating element and an electric heating device
A PTC heating element and an electric heating device containing such a PTC heating element are disclosed. The PTC heating element comprises two insulating layers with a metallic coating provided on one side and a PTC element arranged therebetween which is provided on oppositely disposed main side surfaces with a respective metallization which is electrically conductively connected to the coating of one of the insulating layers. The metallization provided on one of the main side surfaces is assigned only to one potential for energizing the PTC element. The metallization provided on the other main side surface is assigned to only the other potential for energizing the PTC element. The metallization of the one main side surface of the PTC element and the metallization of the other main side surface of the PTC element are formed in such a way that the current path (P) through the PTC element is extended relative to the thickness (D) of the PTC element.

Electrode plate, electrochemical device and safety coating
The present invention relates to an electrode plate, an electrochemical device and a safety coating. The electrode plate comprises a current collector, an electrode active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the electrode active material layer, the safety coating layer comprising a fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler. The electrode plate can quickly open the circuit when the electrochemical device (for example, a capacitor, a primary battery, or a secondary battery) is in a high temperature condition or an internal short circuit occurs, and thus it may improve the high temperature safety performance of the electrochemical device.
Battery module
The present invention provides a battery module, including a plurality of battery cells, a plurality of conductive sheets, and at least one plastic protective layer, wherein each conductive sheet is connected in series or in parallel with a plurality of battery cells. The plastic protective layer is formed on the partial surface of the conductive sheet by injection molding to prevent the electrolyte leaked from the defective battery cell from contacting the conductive sheet, causing rise in temperature of the battery cell and causes melt or explosion of the battery cell, which is helpful to improve the safety of the battery module.
POSITIVE ELECTRODE PLATE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE
The present application relates to a positive electrode plate and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode plate comprises a current collector, a positive active material layer and a safety coating disposed between the current collector and the positive active material layer, the safety coating comprising a polymer matrix, a conductive material and an inorganic filler, wherein the polymer matrix is fluorinated polyolefin and/or chlorinated polyolefin and the weight ratio of the polymer matrix to the conductive material is 2 or more. The positive electrode plate may improve the safety performance during nail penetration of the electrochemical device such as a capacitor, a primary battery or a secondary battery.
