POWER GENERATION SYSTEM
This power generation system is provided with: a gas turbine having a compressor, a combustor and a turbine; a first compressed air supply line that supplies compressed air, which has been compressed by the compressor, to the combustor; a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) having an air electrode and a fuel electrode; a compressed air supply device capable of generating compressed air; and a second compressed air supply line that supplies compressed air, which has been compressed by the compressed air supply device to the SOFC. The fuel cell can thus be stably operated regardless of the operating state of the gas turbine.
POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A power supply system includes a fuel cell, a power storage, and a processor. The fuel cell and the power storage supply electric power to a load. The processor is configured to control the fuel cell and the power storage. The processor is configured to acquire a required system power that is required in the power supply system. The processor is configured to determine a power storage shared power such that power efficiency of the electric power supplied from the power storage to the load is equal to or higher than a first value. The processor is configured to determine a fuel cell shared power such that the electric power supplied from the fuel cell is a difference between the power storage shared power and the required system power.
FUEL CELL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
The disclosure provides a fuel cell system for a vehicle. The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack disposed in a front room of a vehicle; and a converter assembly. The converter assembly disposed above or below the fuel cell stack includes: a converter; a first connector section; and a second connector section. The second connector section connects the converter assembly and a second electrical instrument which uses a high voltage. The second connector section is disposed behind the first connector section in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, and when the first connector section and the second connector section are seen from the front-rear direction of the vehicle, the first connector section and at least a portion of the second connector section are overlapped each other.
ELECTRIC POWER ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM, ELECTRIC POWER ADJUSTMENT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An electric power adjustment system includes: a power storage system that is configured to store electric power; a reversible fuel cell system that is configured to generate electric power through a chemical reaction in a fuel cell using hydrogen which is supplied from a hydrogen station configured to store hydrogen and supply the generated electric power to the power storage system and that is configured to produce hydrogen through water electrolysis in the fuel cell and supply the produced hydrogen to the hydrogen station; a power adjustment device that is configured to adjust a flow of electric power which is exchanged between the power storage system and the reversible fuel cell system; and a power management device that is configured to manage the flow of electric power in the power adjustment device.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR CARBON DIOXIDE CAPTURING AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY PRODUCING SYSTEM
The present invention is an integrated system of a carbon dioxide capturing processes from the atmosphere and producing electrical energy from the integrated system.
The objective of the current invention is; capturing carbon dioxide from the air through the tree fashioned carbon dioxide capturing system and generating electric power through the integrated systems. To generate electric power at maximum efficiency, and capture carbon dioxide, the present invention comprises different integrated processes, integrated systems, and techniques. The present system comprises; an ionized and non-ionized hydrogen gas turbine system unit, carbon dioxide capturing tree system unit, a hybrid thermoelectric-generator and solid oxide fuel cell system unit, a hybrid hydrogen-chlorine fuel cell and carbon dioxide reactor core system unit.
Furthermore to capture carbon dioxide and generate electric power, the present invention comprises various other alternative embodiments.
MANAGING OFF-GRID ENERGY GENERATION AND STORAGE
Techniques for managing an off-grid power system include executing update requests for an off-grid power system that is communicably coupled to an energy management system by determining an amount of stored energy in energy storage devices in response to at least one update request, determining an amount of electrical power generatable by renewable energy power systems in response to another update request, determining a predicted reliability of at least a portion of the energy storage devices and the renewable energy power systems in response to another update request, and determining an amount of electrical power for a remote facility that is electrically coupled to the off-grid power system in response to another update request. The techniques further include determining a control command for the off-grid power system based on the responses to the update requests; and providing the control command to the off-grid power system to adjust an operation of at least one of the energy storage devices or the renewable energy power systems.
ELECTRIC PROPULSION SYSTEM OF AN AIRCRAFT
An electric propulsion system of an aircraft includes an electrical generator and a cooling device of the electrical generator. It further includes at least one thermoacoustic engine and a heat transfer circuit configured to transport heat dissipated by the electrical generator to the thermoacoustic engine. The cooling device of the electrical generator is at least partially powered by energy from the thermoacoustic engine.

A method of transporting a battery module includes transporting the battery module containing at least one battery and a backplane disposed in a cabinet to an operating site such that the at least one battery is electrically isolated from the backplane during the transporting, installing the battery module at the operating site, and electrically connecting the at least one battery to the backplane after the transporting.
PREDICTIVE FREEZE PREPARATION SCHEDULING FOR FUEL CELL PROPULSION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a vehicle with a traction battery and a fuel cell system, and a controller programmed to purge the fuel cell system by flowing air through it to remove moisture from the fuel cell system. The controller is configured to initiate the purge based on a distance of the vehicle from a destination, a state of charge of the traction battery, and ambient temperature conditions at the destination. The freeze preparation process can be initiated when the vehicle is approaching its destination and can be predicted using connectivity and communication with off-board sources.
ELECTRICITY GENERATION DEVICES USING FORMIC ACID
The present disclosure relates generally to portable energy generation devices and methods. The devices are designed to covert formic acid into released hydrogen, alleviating the need for a hydrogen tank as a hydrogen source for fuel cell power. In particular, an electricity generation device for powering a battery comprising a formic acid reservoir containing a liquid consisting of formic acid; a reaction chamber capable of using a catalyst and heat to convert the formic acid to hydrogen and carbon dioxide; a fuel cell that generates electricity; a delivery system for moving converted hydrogen into the fuel cell; and a battery powered by electricity generated by the fuel cell is provided.
