CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF WAVEGUIDE, WAVEGUIDE CONNECTOR, MODE CONVERTER, AND WAVEGUIDE UNIT
A connection structure of a waveguide includes a rod-like dielectric, and an outer conductor. A three-dimensional component includes a connection surface, an insertion hole, and a corner which forms an opening edge of the insertion hole over an entire circumference on the connection surface, the connection surface at least partially including a conductive region to which a connection enlarged portion of the outer conductor is connected, the insertion hole having conductivity over an entire circumference of an inner surface, the corner having conductivity and being conducted with the inner surface of the insertion hole. In a state where the waveguide and the three-dimensional component are connected with each other, the connection enlarged portion is electrically conducted with the inner surface of the insertion hole through electrical connection with the connection surface and the corner, and smooth connection is made at the corner.
Waveguides interconnected by flanges having glide symmetrically positioned holes disposed therein
The embodiments herein relate to a first waveguide comprising a first flange (103a) surrounding an end opening (105a) of the first waveguide (101a). The first flange (103a) comprises at least two holes (110) which are periodically distributed around the end opening (105a). The first waveguide (101a) is arranged to be connected to a second waveguide (101b) by connecting the first flange (103a) to a second flange (103b) of the second waveguide (101b) such that the end opening (105a) of the first waveguide (101a) faces an end opening (105b) of the second waveguide (101b) and such that the holes (110) in the first flange (103a) are at least partly glide symmetrically positioned with respect to holes (110) which are periodically distributed around the end opening (105b) of the second flange (103b).
Waveguide connector having a curved array of waveguides configured to connect a package to excitation elements
Generally, this disclosure provides apparatus and systems for coupling waveguides to a server package with a modular connector system, as well as methods for fabricating such a connector system. Such a system may be formed with connecting waveguides that turn a desired amount, which in turn may allow a server package to send a signal through a waveguide bundle in any given direction without bending waveguides.
PASSIVE RADIO FREQUENCY DEVICE WITH AXIAL FIXING APERTURES
Radio frequency device including at least: a tube through which a channel passes, a front face and/or a rear face forming a bearing surface through which the channel passes, the bearing surface forming an annular frame around one end of the tube and being integral with the tube. The bearing surface includes axial fixing apertures passing through the bearing surface and opening outside the channel in order to allow fixation of the device, and the width of the frame being greater at and in the immediate vicinity of the axial fixing apertures than at a distance from these axial fixing apertures.
In line e-probe waveguide transition
A transition device for a hollow waveguide comprises a rectangular structure comprising an inlet wall and interior extending from the inlet wall along a longitudinal axis. The inlet wall is configured to receive a transmission line comprising an antenna. The antenna forms a proximal end proximate to the inlet wall and a distal end configured to extend into the rectangular structure of the hollow waveguide. A channel is formed in the rectangular structure. The channel comprises a base forming a tuning surface. The tuning surface is configured to extend along a length of the antenna in a spaced configuration parallel to the longitudinal axis.
Connector for connecting a waveguide to a board and having a first opening part facing the board and a second opening part for receiving the waveguide
According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a connector for connecting a waveguide and a board, comprising: a first opening part formed in a direction perpendicular to one side of a board and coupled to the one side of the board; a second opening part formed in a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of a waveguide for signal transmission, wherein the waveguide is capable of being coupled to the second opening part; and a signal guide part connecting the first and second opening parts and including a hollowness surrounded by a conductive layer therein.
WAVEGUIDE CONNECTING STRUCTURE
A waveguide connecting structure includes an inserting waveguide having an inserting conduit line and a flange extending outwardly in a conduit radial-direction, and a receiving waveguide having a receiving conduit line, a receiving structure into which the inserting waveguide is inserted, and stub grooves disposed on both sides of the receiving conduit line outwardly in the direction. The receiving structure has a receiving end face extending in the radial direction and opposing to a flange end face, and an annular receiving inner-circumferential surface disposed outward of the flange and extending in a conduit axial-direction. An electric length of each stub groove in the axial direction from an opening first end to a closing second end is ½ of a conduit wavelength of the stub groove.
