20200305967 · 2020-10-01 ·

A microsurgical probe employs an optional probe support structure; an optical fiber for providing a feed path for an emission wavelength; a chemical feed path for delivering a chemical; a resonator motor; and a probe accessory tool. A microsurgical system additionally employs a sensor and an artificial intelligence (AI) system to assess conditions based on data provided by the sensor. The system can be employed to remove tumor tissue that is interwoven with healthy tissue. This system can also be employed to fertilize old, inflexible ova.

A dilation balloon is wrapped in one or more patterns with a wire or braided material having diamond abrasive or other abrasive material bonded thereto. The wire or braided material is vibrated in one or more ways to enhance the cutting action of the wire abrasive. The wire abrasive may be vibrated using high, low, or even ultrasonic waves transmitted to the wire abrasive via local or remote methods. Alternatively, the dilation balloon may be dilated with a contrast media that exhibits a high absorption to laser light. The contrast material is lazed with a laser fiber or fibers inserted into the balloon interior, creating a substantial shockwave that vibrates the balloon and assists in the cracking or abrading of the surrounding plaque in contact with the dilation balloon. The cutting balloon may employ the abrasive coated wires described above or cutting blades.

Dialysis Sheath For Use In Accessing A Dialysis Arteriovenous Graft Or Fistula And Methods Of Use
20240009370 · 2024-01-11 ·

A dialysis sheath is used with a catheter that cleans clots from a synthetic blood vessel or fistula. The dialysis sheath comprises a main hollow body and a stop mechanism. The main body has a lower portion for insertion into the synthetic blood vessel or fistula. The stop mechanism is movable between (i) a first position in which the stop mechanism is adjacent to or within a surface of the main hollow body and (ii) a second position in which the stop mechanism radially protrudes from the main hollow body. The stop mechanism is configured to engage an inner surface of the synthetic blood vessel or fistula to maintain the lower portion of the dialysis sheath within the synthetic blood vessel or fistula when the dialysis sheath is moved to a different position. The stop mechanism can be fluid-actuated and include a balloon-like structure.

Endovascular Balloon Catheter
20200297979 · 2020-09-24 ·

A balloon catheter is disclosed for endovascular procedures. In one embodiment, among others, the balloon catheter includes an elongated catheter body. At a distal end, the catheter body also includes an angled tip and a balloon adjacent to the angled tip. The balloon is inflatable to form an oblong shape.

Methods and apparatus for treating neurovascular venous outflow obstruction
10779947 · 2020-09-22 · ·

Methods and devices are disclosed for treating neurovascular venous outflow obstructions, with or without implantation of a prosthetic valve. The valve may be carried by a support, such as a stent, which may be self-expandable or balloon expandable. Both transvascular and direct surgical access is contemplated.

Treatment method and medical device

Provided is a treatment method of being able to improve the obstruction of a biological lumen caused by stenosis of the biological lumen and the stagnation of a secretion. The treatment method includes a disposition step of disposing a dilation portion that can be dilated and deflated, and a collection portion, which is capable of removing a secretion S secreted from a biological lumen from a living body, in a stenosed site occurring in the biological lumen; a dilation step of widening the stenosed site after the disposition step by dilating the dilation portion in the stenosed site after the disposition step; and a removal step of removing the secretion from the living body by a removal portion.

Thrombectomy catheter

An example thrombectomy device is disclosed. The example thrombectomy catheter includes a catheter tube including a proximal portion, a distal portion and a lumen extending therein. The thrombectomy catheter also includes a high pressure tube extending through the catheter lumen from the catheter proximal portion toward the catheter distal portion, the high pressure tube having at least one jet orifice for directing at least one fluid jet through the catheter lumen. The thrombectomy catheter also includes an outflow orifice, an inflow orifice and a fluid pulse generator coupled to the proximal portion of the catheter tube, wherein the fluid pulse generator is configured to inject fluid though the thrombectomy catheter at a first frequency.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR RESTORING TISSUE

An apparatus and methods tissue restoration are provided. The apparatus may include a catheter shaft extending from a proximal end to a distal tip and a translucent first distal balloon positioned on a translucent distal segment of the catheter shaft proximal to the distal tip in fluid communication with a drug source via a first lumen, the first distal balloon may include first and second outer surfaces, and a patterned outer profile of first distal balloon formed by the first outer surface and the second outer surface. A second distal balloon positioned inside of and concentric with the first distal balloon. A first light fiber and a second light fiber each positioned in the catheter shaft and extending through the translucent distal segment. The drug source provides at least one drug to the first distal balloon via the first lumen.

SPLIT OVERTUBE ASSEMBLY

An overtube assembly for use with an elongate medical tool includes an overtube including a flexible tubular body having a proximal end and distal end. The flexible tubular body includes a split extending from the proximal end to the distal end. The overtube assembly further includes an inflatable balloon coupled to a distal portion of the flexible tubular body. The flexible tubular body is disposable over a section of the elongate medical tool by inserting the elongate medical tool through the split.

METHODS AND DEVICES FOR FALLOPIAN TUBE DIAGNOSTICS
