Smart connector housing
A connector includes a main housing element for holding smart connector circuitry. A threaded nub extends from the main housing element and is sized to be received within a knock-out of a junction box. The threaded nub has a first opening and a second opening separated by a barrier for allowing respective ones of power wires and dimming wires, which are coupled to the smart connector circuitry, to be passed from the main housing element to the junction box.
Portable antenna
A portable antenna for wireless communication, the portable antenna comprising: an electromagnetically reflective material; a first mechanical structure supporting preferred shape of the electromagnetically reflective material when in deployed position; a second mechanical structure attached to at least one point on the preferred shape and adjustable to hold a mobile wireless communication device at a preferred position relative to the preferred shape, is claimed. Additionally disclosed is a system comprising the portable antenna wherein the second mechanical structure is adapted to hold a feed instead of a mobile device and a cover for a mobile wireless communication device, comprising a signal coupling mechanism, and a signal routing means, and wherein the a signal routing means is coupled to the feed.
ANTENNA STRUCTURE AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE USING SAME
An antenna structure is used in a wireless communication device. The antenna includes an antenna portion. The antenna portion includes a base, a first antenna and at least one second antenna. The first antenna is received in the base, the at least one second antenna is rotatably connected to the base.
MULTI-FREQUENCY, MULTI-RADIATION ANGLE, MULTI-POLARIZATION AND MULTI-PATTERN COMMUNICATION ANTENNA
An antenna is provided and includes a base antenna component, a loop antenna component, a first coupling by which the loop antenna component is pivotally attached to and selectively electrically communicative with the base antenna component, a whip antenna component, a second coupling by which the whip antenna component is pivotally attached to and selectively electrically communicative with the loop antenna component; and a transmission/reception (T/R) module. The T/R module is disposable in signal communication with at least one or more of the base, loop and whip antenna components.
MULTIBAND WIFI DIRECTIONAL ANTENNAS
Disclosed are exemplary embodiments of multiband WiFi directional antennas. In an exemplary embodiment, an antenna generally includes a base plate, a plurality of vertically polarized antenna element modules on the base plate, and a plurality of horizontally polarized antenna element modules on the base plate. Each antenna element module includes a radiating element and a ground plane/reflector. The antenna may be operable within at least a first WiFi frequency range and a second WiFi frequency range different than the first WiFi frequency range.
Space-borne antenna system
A space-borne antenna system includes a number of panels being moveable to each other and having a gap in between them when the panels are arranged in an operation condition. The system also includes an RF distribution network for providing transmit signals to the number of panels and combining received signals from the number of panels. The system further includes a set of choke flange assemblies that allow a contactless inter-panel signal transmission across a dedicated gap. A respective choke flange assembly is arranged on the far side of a radiating surface of the dedicated adjacent panels. The system also includes an RF seal assembly for suppressing a signal coupling of signals radiated from the number of panels to the set of choke flange assemblies by sealing the gap.
WIRELESS ANTENNA MODULE AND WIRELESS SYSTEM
A wireless antenna module includes a power supply case configured to accommodate a power supply, and at least one module body connected to the power supply. A casing wherein at least a wireless antenna and a controller are provided in the casing. The controller includes an operation unit configured to exchange information at least with another device. A mounting mechanism mounts the module body to a device.
MILITARY VESSEL
A military vessel may include a directable weapon and an antenna. The antenna can be swiveled from a first position, in which the antenna is disposed essentially vertically, into a second position, in which a height of the antenna above the military vessel is reduced to increase a directing range of the directable weapon compared to the first position. A method for operating a military vessel with a directable weapon and an antenna may involve swiveling the antenna from a first position, in which the antenna is disposed essentially vertically, into a second position, in which the height of the antenna above the vessel is reduced to increase the directing range of the weapon compared to the first position.
Multi-beam shaped reflector antenna for concurrent communication with multiple satellites
A multi-beam antenna including a reflector having a single reflector surface defining a first focal region and a second focal region. A first feed group located within the first focal region includes a first feed oriented relative to the reflector to define a first beam pointed in a first direction. The multi-beam antenna further includes a fixed attachment mechanism attaching the first feed group to the reflector such that a position of the first feed group is fixed relative to the reflector. The multi-beam antenna further includes a second feed group located within the second focal region that includes a second feed oriented relative to the reflector to define a second beam pointed in a second direction. The multi-beam antenna further includes an adjustable attachment mechanism attaching the second feed group to the reflector, whereby a difference between the first direction and the second direction is adjustable.
Antenna device having rotatable structure
An architecture for providing a low cost, high performance antenna for small devices In particular, a rotatable antenna that having three antenna elements; a primary element consisting of a radiating element and swiveling cylindrical head, a secondary element that consists of a feeding cylindrical pin attached vertically to an electronic device main board, and a third element that consists of a plastic part over-molding the secondary element to permit electromagnetic coupling accuracy between the primary and secondary elements.
