In one or more examples, a method for operating a communication system comprises switching, at least one switch in a rearrangeable switch network, to control input levels to power amplifiers in a power distribution network. The method further comprises outputting, by the power amplifiers in the power distribution network, power to a plurality of antenna elements. Further, the method comprises steering and distributing power, by the antenna elements, in beams associated with each of the antenna elements according to a level of the power in each of the antenna elements.

ANTENNA STRUCTURE

An antenna structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first antenna unit including a first radiator, a first transmission line connected to the first radiator, and a guide pattern disposed around the first transmission line and separated from the first transmission line, a second antenna unit at least partially covered by the guide pattern of the first antenna unit in a plan view, and a dielectric layer interposed between the first antenna unit and the second antenna unit. An antenna structure implementing low-frequency and high-frequency properties with high reliability is provided.

A back cover includes cover member, a pictorial pattern layer, and a metasurface. The pictorial pattern layer is arranged in a layering direction with respect to the cover member and includes a metal vapor deposition layer. The metasurface is arranged side by side in the layering direction with the pictorial pattern layer. The metasurface amplifies an antenna signal.
