An antenna structure according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a dielectric layer, a radiator disposed on the dielectric layer, a transmission line branching from the radiator, a signal pad electrically connected to the radiator through the transmission line on the dielectric layer, and an external circuit structure bonded to the signal pad. The signal pad includes a bonding region that is bonded to the external circuit structure and a margin region that is not bonded to the external circuit structure and is adjacent to the bonding region. An area ratio of the margin region relative to the bonding region in the signal pad is 0.05 or more and less than 0.5.

RADAR ASSEMBLY

A radar assembly includes a hollow drum and an antenna holding structure located inside the hollow drum so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna holding structure. An antenna is connected to the antenna holding structure and located inside the hollow drum so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna. The antenna holding structure is connected to a base frame and to which the hollow drum is connected via at least one axle so that the hollow drum can rotate around the antenna holding structure while the antenna holding structure and antenna remain stationary. A handle is connected to the base frame so that a user can direct the antenna towards a surface of interest which is to be radiated and can then roll the hollow drum over the surface while maintaining the antenna in a user selected orientation.

The electronic device includes a 5th generation (5G) antenna module that includes an antenna array, at least one conductive region operating as a ground with respect to the antenna array, and a first communication circuit feeding a power to the antenna array to communicate through a millimeter wave signal, and a printed circuit board (PCB) that includes a second communication circuit and a ground region. The second communication circuit feeds the power to an electrical path at least including the at least one conductive region and transmits or receives a signal in a frequency band different from a frequency band of the millimeter wave signal based on the electrical path supplied with the power and the ground region.

An electronic device including an antenna module is provided. The electronic device includes a 5th generation (5G) antenna module that includes an antenna array, at least one conductive region operating as a ground with respect to the antenna array, and a first communication circuit feeding a power to the antenna array to communicate through a millimeter wave signal, and a printed circuit board (PCB) that includes a second communication circuit and a ground region. The second communication circuit feeds the power to an electrical path at least including the at least one conductive region and transmits or receives a signal in a frequency band different from a frequency band of the millimeter wave signal based on the electrical path supplied with the power and the ground region.

An electronic device in accordance with an example embodiment of the disclosure includes a first non-conductive cover defining a first surface of the electronic device, a second non-conductive cover including a first portion defining a second surface of the electronic device, and a second portion defining one portion of a lateral surface of the electronic device, a conductive frame defining an other portion of the lateral surface of the electronic device, and an antenna module, wherein the antenna module is positioned so that the one surface is substantially perpendicular to the second surface at a position within a specified proximity to the lateral surface of the electronic device and is configured to transmit and/or receive a signal through the lateral surface.
