Electronic devices having circuitry in housing attachment structures
An electronic device housing may be formed from housing members. A first housing member may form a display cover layer that overlaps pixels. During operation, the pixels may display an image that is viewable through the display cover layer. The second housing member may have a rear wall portion and a sidewall. A band may be coupled to the sidewall or other portion of the second housing member. The first and second housing members may be attached together using a housing member attachment structure. The housing member attachment structure may have layers of adhesive and printed circuit structures. The printed circuit structures may include metal traces that form an antenna and that form capacitive force sensor electrodes on opposing sides of a compressible member.

ACTIVE DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM WITH FREQUENCY TRANSLATION AND SWITCH MATRIX
A three-dimensional, 360 degree, omnidirectional multiple-input multiple-output wireless systems is described herein. The multiple-input multiple-output wireless system is comprised of a plurality of radio inputs, a plurality of radio-frequency converters, an RF signal distribution network, a plurality of transceivers, and a plurality of antennas. The multiple-input multiple-output wireless system may further have a plurality of planar stacks.
COIL DEVICE
A coil device includes a core member, a bobbin, a coil portion, an outer case, and a potting resin. The core member extends in a longitudinal direction. The bobbin is provided with a longitudinal concave portion communicating with a side surface opening portion open to outside and housing the core member. The coil portion is provided with a wire wound around the bobbin. The outer case is provided with a housing concave portion configured to house the bobbin housing the core member and have the coil portion. The potting resin is filled in the housing concave portion and surrounds the bobbin with the coil portion. An opening port of the housing concave portion and the side surface opening portion are open in the same direction.
ANTENNA DEVICE
According to one embodiment, an antenna device includes: an antenna substrate which comprises on a front surface thereof a radiation element for transmitting/receiving radio waves; a dielectric layer which covers the front surface and a back surface of the antenna substrate; and a first conductive layer which covers a side surface of the antenna substrate.
Compact radiating element having resonant cavities
A radiating element is provided, for example for array antenna, having stacked resonant cavities of Pérot-Fabry type, of compact structure, a lower cavity being fed by excitation means, the radiating element being characterized in that corrugations are formed substantially below a first earth plane delimiting in its lower part the upper resonant cavity. A radiating element structure of improved compactness is also proposed, whose upper cavity is surmounted by a polarizing radome.
Low profile high performance integrated antenna for small cell base station
The present disclosure relates to antenna design for installation on small cell base stations. The antenna design corresponds to a conformal antenna design that fits into a traditional sun-shield of an outdoor base station. In another aspect, the antenna design supports multiple bands and multiple technologies. In a further aspect, the antenna design provides a gain pattern that allows installation of the small cells into directional sectors to further enhance the spectral efficiency while providing a single installation location. In still a further aspect, the design permits the form factor of the base station to meet unique and desirable aesthetic principals such as a modern curved surface and an attractive and distinctive height, width and depth ratio.
ANTENNA FOR IDENTIFICATION TAG AND IDENTIFICATION TAG WITH ANTENNA
Disclosed is an ultra high frequency antenna device for use with an identification tag for attachment to an animal. The antenna device comprises: a meander line antenna; and a substrate. The antenna device is operable to use the body of the animal to which it is attached as part of the tuning circuit of said antenna device. Also disclosed is an ultra-high frequency identification tag comprising such an antenna device, and a method of manufacturing such an ultra-high frequency identification tag.
LOW-PROFILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND METHOD OF PROVIDING SAME
Techniques and mechanisms for providing a low-profile terminal for satellite communication. In an embodiment, a communication terminal includes a radome, an array of radio frequency (RF) elements and a foam layer disposed therebetween. The foam layer includes a first side and a second side opposite the first side, wherein the array of RF elements and the radome are coupled to the foam layer via the first side and the second side, respectively. The communication device provides contiguous structure between the radome and the array of RF elements. In another embodiment, the first side forms a machined surface which contributes to flatness of one or more antenna panels having the array of RF elements disposed therein or thereon.
