An antenna substrate includes: a first substrate including an antenna pattern disposed on an upper surface of the first substrate; a second substrate having a first planar surface, an area of which is smaller than an area of a planar surface of the first substrate; and a flexible substrate connecting the first and second substrates to each other and bent to allow the first planar surface of the second substrate to face a side surface of the first substrate, which is perpendicular to the upper surface of the first substrate.

An electronic device including an interposer is provided. The electronic device includes a first circuit board having a first connection terminal formed thereon, an application processor (AP) connected to the first connection terminal and deployed on the first circuit board, an interposer having a via formed therein and having a first surface attached to the first circuit board, the interposer at least partly surrounding at least a partial region of the first circuit board and a first end portion of the via being electrically connected to the first connection terminal, a second circuit board having a second connection terminal formed thereon and attached to a second surface of the interposer in an opposite direction to the first surface, the second connection terminal being electrically connected to a second end portion of the via and the second circuit board forming an inner space together with the first circuit board and the interposer, a communication processor (CP) connected to the second connection terminal and deployed on the second circuit board, and an antenna electrically connected to the CP.
INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM ANTENNA ISOLATION WITH INTEGRATED COOLING FAN
A portable information handling system structure located between housing hinges along one side of the housing has first and second antenna disposed at opposing ends with a cooling fan between the first and second antenna and over the antenna structure to isolate the first and second antenna. In one embodiment, a parasitic element disposed between the first and second antenna and under the cooling fan has resonance tuned to isolate wireless signals of a frequency supported by the first and second antenna.
Device comprising multi-directional antennas in substrates coupled through flexible interconnects
A device that includes a first substrate comprising a first antenna, an integrated device coupled to the first substrate, an encapsulation layer located over the first substrate and the integrated device, a second substrate comprising a second antenna, and a flexible connection coupled to the first substrate and the second substrate. The device includes a shield formed over a surface of the encapsulation layer and a surface of the first substrate. The shield includes an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield.
COMMUNICATION DEVICE COMPRISING A RETROREFLECTIVE STRUCTURE
The disclosure relates to suppressing surface waves in a communication device for a wireless communication system. The communication device includes a dielectric layer extending along a plane between a chassis and a glass layer, an antenna element configured to emit a radio wave, and a retroreflective structure extending inside the dielectric layer and being located adjacent to the antenna element, and where the retroreflective structure is configured to reflect the radio wave in an angle non-parallel to the plane. The retroreflective structure hence prevents parasitic channeling of the antenna energy into surface waves in and behind the glass layer and directs the radiation into the desired direction.

A semiconductor package structure is provided. The semiconductor package structure includes a first redistribution layer (RDL) structure formed on a non-active surface of a semiconductor die. A second RDL structure is formed on and electrically coupled to an active surface of the semiconductor die. A ground layer is formed in the first RDL structure. A first molding compound layer is formed on the first RDL structure. A first antenna includes a first antenna element formed in the second RDL structure and a second antenna element formed on the first molding compound layer. Each of the first antenna element and the second antenna element has a first portion overlapping the semiconductor die as viewed from a top-view perspective.
PLANAR ANTENNA AND HIGH-FREQUENCY MODULE INCLUDING SAME
A planar antenna formed on a front surface of a substrate whose back surface serves as a ground surface, the planar antenna includes: a radiating element; a feeding line connected with the radiating element; a first ground element and a second ground element which are respectively electrically connected to the ground surface and are arranged to be opposed to each other across the feeding line; a first parasitic element extending from the first ground element to surround at least a part of the radiating element; and a second parasitic element extending from the second ground element to surround at least a part of the radiating element from an opposite direction from the first parasitic element, wherein the first ground element and the second ground element serve as impedance matching devices for the feeding line.

A module includes: a substrate having a first surface; a first component mounted on the first surface; a first protruding electrode disposed on the first surface; a first resin film covering the first component along a shape of the first component, covering at least a part of the first surface, and partially covering the first protruding electrode; and a first shield film formed to overlap with the first resin film. The first protruding electrode includes a first sharpened portion, the first protruding electrode is exposed from the first resin film in at least a part of the first sharpened portion, and the first shield film is electrically connected to the first protruding electrode by covering a portion where the first protruding electrode is exposed from the first resin film.

A semiconductor package includes a front redistribution structure having a first surface and a second surface, opposite to the first surface, a dielectric layer, an antenna substrate including a plurality of antenna members in the dielectric layer, a semiconductor chip having a connection pad connected to the plurality of antenna members, a conductive core structure having a first through-hole accommodating the antenna substrate and a second through-hole accommodating the semiconductor chip, and a rear redistribution structure including a conductive cover layer exposing an upper portion of the antenna substrate and covering an upper portion of the semiconductor chip, and a conductive via connecting the conductive cover layer to the conductive core structure.
