A twin beam base station antenna includes a first array that has a plurality of columns of first frequency band radiating elements, the first array configured to form a first antenna beam that provides coverage throughout a first sub-sector of a three-sector base station. The radiating elements in a first of the columns in the first array have a first azimuth boresight pointing direction and the radiating elements in a second of the columns in the first array have a second azimuth boresight pointing direction that is offset from the first azimuth boresight pointing direction by at least 10°. The radiating elements in the second of the columns in the first array are electrically steered.

ANTENNA MODULE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An antenna module includes a first, a second, a third radiators, and a ground radiator. The first radiator includes a first section and a second section. The second radiator is connected to the first radiator, and includes a third section and a fourth section connected to each other. The fourth section includes a feed end. The third radiator is connected to the third section of the second radiator. The ground radiator is connected to the third radiator. The first, the second, the third, and the ground radiator are sequentially connected in a bent manner to form a stepped shape. The first section of the first radiator and the fourth section of the second radiator jointly resonate at a low frequency band, and the second section of the first radiator, the second radiator, the third radiator, and the ground radiator jointly resonate at a high frequency band.

Provided are antenna apparatus and a base station, where the antenna apparatus includes a first radiator configured to radiate a low-frequency signal and a second radiator configured to radiate a high-frequency signal, the first radiator comprising at least one first stub and at least one second stub; one end of the first stub is connected to a first connecting point on the first radiator, the other end of the first stub is a free end; one end of the second stub is connected to a second connecting point on the first radiator, the other end of the second stub is a free end; and a sum of a length of the first stub, a length of the second stub, and a length of the first radiator between the first connecting point and the second connecting point is determined according to a wavelength corresponding to a predefined high frequency.

Each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes a portion that acts as a self-similarity antenna or an antenna that acts based on similar operating principle to the self-similarity antenna. In one embodiment, each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes two arms that extend in a direction away from each other from a proximal end portion to which a feed point is connectable.

Methods and apparatuses for assembling radiating structures for a base station antenna

A radiating structure assembly system includes a movable conveyor that supports fixtures. Work stations are spaced about the conveyor such that the fixtures are moved sequentially to position the fixtures at the plurality of work stations. A first work station includes a loading assembly for loading the radiating elements on the fixtures. A second work station includes a first automated vertical assembly machine for mounting a first printed circuit board to the radiating element. A third work station includes a second automated vertical assembly machine for mounting a second printed circuit board to the radiating element to create a dipole assembly. A holding device is movable with the conveyor aligns and supports the first and second printed circuit boards relative to the radiating element. A fourth work station includes an unloading assembly for removing the dipole assembly from the conveyor.

Radiating elements having angled feed stalks and base station antennas including same

Radiating elements of first and second linear arrays of radiating elements have respective feed stalks that can reside at an angle to provide a balanced dipole arm with an inner end portion laterally offset to be closer to a right or left side of the base station antenna and reflector than an outer end portion that faces a radome of the base station antenna. The feed stalk can include sheet metal legs and printed circuit boards providing an RF transmission line(s).
