eLORAN receiver and antenna with ferromagnetic body and windings and related methods
An eLORAN receiver may include an antenna and eLORAN receiver circuitry coupled to the antenna. The antenna may have a ferromagnetic core including a ferromagnetic medial portion and ferromagnetic arms extending outwardly from the ferromagnetic medial portion, a respective electrically conductive winding surrounding each of the ferromagnetic arms, and an electrically conductive patch element adjacent the ferromagnetic core.
SELF-DECOUPLED COMPACT CAVITY ANTENNA
An antenna assembly for a mobile communication device includes two antennas. The two antennas are disposed in a cavity defined in a side frame member of the mobile communication device. The two antennas are disposed adjacent with a gap in between. An antenna feed point is disposed in connection with each antenna. One antenna element of each antenna is disposed on a surface of side frame member surrounding the cavity.
RFID TAG, PET BOTTLE, AND ANTENNA
A RFID tag for placement on a surface of a container that contains a liquid is provided. The RFID tag includes an IC chip configured to store identification information, a loop conductor connected to the IC chip, and an antenna unit that includes two conductor units connected to the loop conductor and extending away from each other from the loop conductor.
DUAL DIPOLE OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA
Systems and devices relating to antennas and antenna systems. A horizontal omnidirectional antenna has two dipoles with each dipole being in a V-configuration such that the arms of the dipole define an angle. The two dipoles are arranged so that the angles defined by each of the dipoles face and open toward each other. The horizontal omnidirectional antenna can be configured to operate with specific frequency bands. By nesting two instances of this antenna, with one configured for high band frequencies and one configured for low band frequencies, a dualband omnidirectional antenna can be obtained. The resulting antenna is physically compact and can be used in small MIMO systems along with vertical omnidirectional antennas.
