Monolithic decade-bandwidth ultra-wideband antenna array module
A phased array antenna system having radiating units unitarily formed and arranged in an array by direct metal sintering avoiding assembly requirements. Each radiating unit includes a free-space impedance transformer having first, second and third radiator elements. Each radiating unit includes an embedded balun having first, second, and third impedance transition elements located generally concentric with the first, the second, and the third radiator elements and distally connected respectively to form a first integrated coaxial interface, a second integrated coaxial interface, and an integrated ground interface. Each radiating unit includes a ground plane electrically coupled to the integrated ground interface.
MOBILE DEVICE SUPPORTING MIMO
A mobile device supporting MIMO (Multi-Input and Multi-Output) includes a metal mechanism element, a metal sidewall, a first feeding element, a second feeding element, a third feeding element, and a fourth feeding element. The metal sidewall is coupled to the metal mechanism element. A first slot, a second slot, a third slot, and a fourth slot are formed on the metal mechanism element and the metal sidewall. A first antenna structure is formed by the first slot and the first feeding element. A second antenna structure is formed by the second slot and the second feeding element. A third antenna structure is formed by the third slot and the third feeding element. A fourth antenna structure is formed by the fourth slot and the fourth feeding element.
VEHICLE PANE
A vehicle pane has a first substrate and at least one first electrically conducting layer, wherein an antenna structure is formed in the electrically conducting layer, wherein the antenna structure provides a Vivaldi-antenna-like structure, wherein the antenna structure has two substantially identical antenna elements, wherein the two antenna elements are arranged at an angle relative to one another, wherein the angle is greater than 0° and less than 180° such that the antenna elements appear substantially as mirror images at the angle bisector.
ANTENNA AND GLIDE PATH ARRAY FOR SMALL FOOTPRINT AIRCRAFT PRECISION APPROACH AND LANDING SYSTEM
An instrument landing system (ILS) is described. The ILS comprises a plurality of antennas and a plurality of antenna radio units (ARUs). Each ARU of the plurality of ARUs operates to generate a modulated RF signal provided to a different one of the plurality of antennas for transmission. The ILS further comprises a central processing unit that operates to control the ARUs to adjust synchronization between the modulated RF signal provided by the ARUs to the plurality of antennas for transmission.
Dual-polarized antenna
Provided is a dual-polarized antenna. The dual-polarized antenna includes a horizontal radiating unit and a vertical radiating unit. The horizontal radiating unit includes a power divider and a Vivaldi oscillator array. The Vivaldi oscillator array includes multiple Vivaldi oscillator units uniformly distributed in a circumferential direction of the Vivaldi oscillator array. The power divider includes multiple output ports in one-to-one correspondence with the multiple Vivaldi oscillator units. The multiple output ports of the power divider are coupled to the multiple Vivaldi oscillator units in a one-to-one correspondence. The vertical radiating unit is disposed on one side of the horizontal radiating unit and includes a vertically-polarized oscillator.
Transparent Broadband Antenna
A transparent broadband antenna has two conductive leaves that are configured to be axially symmetric about two orthogonal axes. The transparent broadband antenna is designed as having two back-to-back Vivaldi radiators and four identically curved outer corners. The back-to-back Vivaldi radiators provide high performance from 617 MHz through 7 GHz while preventing return waves that may cause impedance mismatch. The antenna further comprises a feed structure that enables direct coupling from an RF cable to the two conductive leads, obviating the need for a matching circuit and subsequent bandwidth limitations.
Multi-spectral vehicular radar system
Embodiments of a vehicular radar system are presented herein. One embodiment comprises a first circuitry layer including a first radar subsystem for a first frequency band, the first radar subsystem including a first end-fire antenna. The vehicular radar system also includes a second circuitry layer stacked on or under the first circuitry layer, the second circuitry layer including a second radar subsystem for a second frequency band, the second radar subsystem including a second end-fire antenna. In this embodiment, one or more components of the vehicular radar system are shared between the first and second radar subsystems.
MULTI-BAND MASSIVE MIMO ANTENNA ARRAY
A dual-band, tri-band, or higher-order multi-band array of antenna elements, with each element, or subsets of elements, connected to multiple radios at each antenna port. In one embodiment, an array comprises a 128 element Massive MIMO array having 64 horizontally-polarized (H-pol) and 64 vertically-polarized (V-pol) elements configured to provide dual polarization capability over multiple bands to accommodate highly-configurable simultaneous 4G and 5G operation.
