High-Frequency Noise Detection Antenna
A high-frequency noise detection antenna is provided with a fine coaxial line that includes a center conductor, an insulator provided so as to surround the whole periphery of the center conductor, and a ground shield provided so as to surround the whole periphery of the insulator, and in which a tip of the center conductor is exposed so as to protrude from the end of the insulator and the end of the ground shield, and an exposed ground shield provided so as to protrude from the end of the ground shield and surround a part in a circumferential direction of an exposed portion from which the center conductor protrudes.
Deployable cylindrical parabolic antenna
A deployable antenna structure is provided that, in one embodiment, implements an offset feed, cylindrical parabolic antenna. The antenna structure employs a semi-rigid panel that can transition from a stowed state characterized by the retention of substantial strain energy to a deployed state characterized by less strain energy than in the stowed state but more than if the panel were in a strain-free state and a portion of the panel having a shape that closely conforms to a cylindrical parabolic shape.
Wave-Shaped Ground Structure for Antenna Arrays
This document describes techniques, apparatuses, and systems for a wave-shaped ground structure for antenna arrays. A radar system may include a ground structure with a first surface having a wave shape and a second surface opposite the first surface. The ground structure includes multiple antenna arrays separated in a longitudinal direction on the first surface. Each antenna array includes one or more antenna elements configured to emit or receive electromagnetic (EM) energy. The ground structure also includes antenna feeds separated in the longitudinal direction on the second surface and operably connected to the antenna arrays. The wave shape of the ground structure configures the radar system to provide an antenna radiation pattern that provides a uniform radiation pattern among the antenna arrays. The wave shape can also be configured to provide an asymmetrical radiation pattern or a narrow beamwidth for specific applications.
Flexible radome structures
An antenna structure includes a radiator element configured for operation at a first microwave frequency range and at a second microwave frequency range that is higher than the first microwave frequency range, and a reflector including the radiator element attached thereto. The reflector includes an enclosure that houses the radiator element and a radiating aperture. The antenna structure further includes a radome assembly adjacent the radiating aperture. The radome assembly includes a flexible radome having a thickness that is less than a wavelength corresponding to the first or second microwave frequency ranges, and a tensioning member that extends along a perimeter of the flexible radome and maintains tension in a surface of the flexible radome.
Test apparatus and test method
A test apparatus includes a test antenna that is provided in an OTA chamber 50 and transmits or receives a radio signal to or from an antenna 110 of a DUT 100, and a measurement device that measures transmission characteristics or reception characteristics of the DUT 100 disposed in a quiet zone QZ, by using the test antenna. The test antenna includes a reflector reflection type test antenna 6a that transmits or receives a radio signal to or from the antenna 110 of the DUT via a reflector 7, and mirror reflection type test antennae 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, and 6f that transmits or receives a radio signal to or from the antenna 110 of the DUT via mirrors 9b to 9f.

DEPLOYABLE ASSEMBLY FOR ANTENNAS
A deployable assembly for antennae includes a structure having a reflective surface and n pairs of segments, each pair of segments corresponding to one side of a deployed polygonal shape. N hinge joints are between the two segments of a side. N hinged angular links are between every two adjacent sides. The structure is changeable from a stowed substantially cylindrical shape into a deployed substantially planar polygonal shape with n sides. A deployable boom is between two segments. The boom lays stowed between the two segments before deployment and ends in a feeder electromagnetically feeding the antenna and includes a clamping element for keeping the structure closed when stowed. The feeder acts as structural support element when stowed and electromagnetic feeder for the antenna when deployed. A cable network shapes the reflective surface, with corresponding cables held by tensor elements protruding from the back of the segments.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVISIONING OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS SIGNALS IN MOVING TRAINS
Systems and methods are provided for provisioning of telecommunications signals in moving trains. A scattering panel configured for redirecting signals in a train system, with the scattering panel having a plurality of facets. The plurality of facets together may combine to provide a plurality of adjacent curved reflectors, with at least one facet of the plurality of facets facing in a different direction relative to at least one other facet of the plurality of facets, with at least one facet of the plurality of facets having one or more flat planar surfaces and at least one other facet of the plurality of facets having a curved surface portion, and with at least one facet of the plurality of facets having structures configured for modifying signals propagating over a surface of the at least one facet in at least one direction relative to the surface.
Arrangement for communication between motor vehicles, and reflector device
An arrangement for communication between motor vehicles is specified. The arrangement comprises a reflector apparatus that is secured at a fixed location in the outer region of a curve or of a curve-like road. The reflector apparatus is in an orientation such that said reflector apparatus deflects electromagnetic radiation in the frequency band between 2.5 GHz and 7.5 GHz that is emitted by a first motor vehicle, situated in the region of a curve entrance, toward a second motor vehicle, situated in the region of a curve exit. Furthermore, a corresponding reflector apparatus for the arrangement is specified.
