An antenna system comprises a wide-band antenna and a lens body. At least a portion of the antenna is placed inside the lens body. The antenna has at least two antenna portions with ends. The antenna portions define a distance between them, which gradually increases towards the ends defining the aperture of the antenna. The lens body has at least two curved sections that merge into a common material section of the lens body. The common material section is located below the aperture of the antenna. Further, a compact antenna test range is described.

Some embodiments include packages and methods of making the packages. One of the packages includes a ground layer (e.g., a ground plane) of metal formed over a chip of die, an antenna element of metal formed over the ground layer, and a dielectric lens formed over the antenna element. The dielectric lens includes a plurality of dielectric layers that have graded dielectric constants in a decreasing order along a direction from the antenna element toward a top surface of the package.

An antenna array and a wireless device using the antenna array are disclosed. The antenna array includes a first antenna set and a first radio frequency lens set. The first antenna set includes a plurality of antennas, and the first radio frequency lens set includes a plurality of radio frequency lenses. The plurality of antennas and the plurality of radio frequency lenses are arranged according to rules. According to the rules, the first radio frequency lens set can be used to increase a phase difference between radio signals from antennas.

An antenna array and a wireless device using the antenna array are disclosed. The antenna array includes a first antenna set and a first radio frequency lens set. The present disclosure provides a lens antenna packaging structure, a preparation method and an electronic device. The lens antenna packaging structure includes a rewiring layer stack, a feeder line, a plastic encapsulation layer, an antenna, a lens, a chip and a protruded solder ball. The lens covers the antenna, such that one or a combination of the spherical beam and the cylindrical beam radiated initially from the antenna will be refracted by the lens into a desired shape, to improve the directivity of the beam through the lens, which can enhance the directional gain of electromagnetic waves through the lens, reduce the attenuation and loss of the electromagnetic waves of the antenna, and produce a significant energy saving for 5G base stations and terminals.
