Wire termination using fixturing elements
A method for forming a connection between a wire and a pin includes placing a fixturing element over the pin, capturing the wire between an upper surface and a lower surface of the fixturing element, compressing the fixturing element to hold the wire around the pin and forming a fixed connection between the wire and the pin. A system for forming an electrical connection includes a pin, a fixturing element disposed around the pin, and a wire placed around pin and sandwiched between an upper surface and a lower surface of the fixturing element.
Tap clamp
A clamp provides electrical communication between a first conductor and a second conductor. The clamp includes a first housing portion having a first surface, a second surface, a first housing bore, and a cavity, the first housing bore extending along a longitudinal axis. The clamp further includes a clamp member at least partially disposed within the cavity of the first housing portion, the clamp member including a first clamp surface adjacent the second surface of the housing in a facing relationship. The clamp further includes a shaft oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis, the shaft coupling the first housing portion and the clamp member. The clamp further includes a second housing portion movably coupled to the first housing portion by the shaft, the second housing portion including a second housing bore and a second clamp surface, the second housing bore aligned with the longitudinal axis, the second clamp surface adjacent the first surface of the first housing portion in a facing relationship.

Electric spinning pliers
An electric spinning pliers apparatus includes a housing, a plier head coupled to a rotatable shaft, and a head-operating handle. The housing may have a wire sleeve stripper, an iris door, one or more controls, and an indicator light. The electric spinning pliers apparatus utilizes the wire sleeve stripper to cut an outer sleeve of a group of wires, exposing individual wires. Each individual wire may be stripped by the iris door, while the plier head may grasp and rotate, via a motor, each of the individual wires into a single unit. The plier head may then twist a wire nut on the twisted wires.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CENTER TWISTING WIRES
An apparatus configured to twist a first wire about a second wire is presented herein. The apparatus includes a securing mechanism configured to secure ends of the first wire and the second wire. The first wire is arranged parallel to the second wire along a longitudinal axis. The apparatus also includes a gripping mechanism configured to grip central portions of the first and second wires such that inner surfaces of the central portions of the first and second wires are in contact with one another and a rotating mechanism configured to rotate the gripping mechanism, thereby twisting the first and second wires about one another. A method of twisting a first wire about a second wire is also presented herein.
Conductor connection, connection piece and method for fabricating a conductor connection
A conductor connection, a connection piece and a method for fabricating a conductor connection are disclosed. In an embodiment a conductor connection includes a connection piece including one or more openings and a wall whose distance from a longitudinal axis of the connection piece increases toward at least one of the openings, and several electric conductors, wherein each of the electric conductors extends through one of the openings into the connection piece.
Quick Splice Tool
This present patent application discloses a quick splice tool for splicing braided wire and terminating wire ends. The quick splice tool is a cylindrical shaped wire joining or terminating structure that utilizes a needle mechanism to split wire and a center, circular mechanism to hold the wire for stabilization and metal discs to prevent the wire from being pulled back out. The quick splice tool effectively prevents from having to use a wire crimper to splice and terminate wire ends, which saves extensive amounts of time and effort when splicing braided electrical wire. The quick splice tool ensures all connectors and terminated ends are reusable and capable of being reconnected within the electrical line.
