Tap clamp
A clamp provides electrical communication between a first conductor and a second conductor. The clamp includes a first housing portion having a first surface, a second surface, a first housing bore, and a cavity, the first housing bore extending along a longitudinal axis. The clamp further includes a clamp member at least partially disposed within the cavity of the first housing portion, the clamp member including a first clamp surface adjacent the second surface of the housing in a facing relationship. The clamp further includes a shaft oriented parallel to the longitudinal axis, the shaft coupling the first housing portion and the clamp member. The clamp further includes a second housing portion movably coupled to the first housing portion by the shaft, the second housing portion including a second housing bore and a second clamp surface, the second housing bore aligned with the longitudinal axis, the second clamp surface adjacent the first surface of the first housing portion in a facing relationship.
Connector assembly with retainer
A connector assembly includes a conductor retainer that is configured to relieve retain a conductor within a connector body of the connector assembly. The conductor retainer causes the conductor to helically twist at least 90 degrees about a longitudinal axis. A helical channel may be defined in the conductor retainer to cause the conductor to helically twist. Multiple conductors may be terminated within the connector assembly and the conductor retainer may define multiple helical channels. Some of the helical channels may have a right hand helical twist while others have a left hand helical twist. A method of manufacturing a connector assembly with these features is also presented.

Connectors for smart windows
This disclosure provides connectors for smart windows. A smart window may incorporate an optically switchable pane. In one aspect, a window unit includes an insulated glass unit including an optically switchable pane. A wire assembly may be attached to the edge of the insulated glass unit and may include wires in electrical communication with electrodes of the optically switchable pane. A floating connector may be attached to a distal end of the wire assembly. The floating connector may include a flange and a nose, with two holes in the flange for affixing the floating connector to a first frame. The nose may include a terminal face that present two exposed contacts of opposite polarity.

Wire Nut Electrical Connector
The present invention relates to an electric testing assistance tool in the form a wire nut or electrical connector. The tool is a funnel shaped flame resistant and insulating device and has a top end and a bottom end with curved walls. The top end includes a central hole to receive a testing probe of a tester device. The device has an internal metal spiral thread connected to a metal ball connector. The metal spiral thread twistable about a plurality of wire end leads. The leads extending from the bottom end opening are connected to a target wiring whose electrical parameters and continuity is to be measured using the electric testing assistance tool. The testing probe can be inserted through the central hole to contact the metal ball to measure the electric parameters and continuity of the target wiring.

Electrical connection assembly with electrical connector mounted and overmolded on an electric cable, associated production method
The present invention basically involves replacing all the mechanical protection (corrugated tube, cover) and sealing (annular seals) parts that are mechanically fitted in electrical connection solutions, in particular for coaxial connection, of the prior art with a joint directly overmolded on the conductive jacket (ferrule, shell or two half-shells), partly inside the connector housing and around the part of the outer sheath of the cable that is near the housing.
