Spark plug coupler
11233378 · 2022-01-25 · ·

In at least some implementations, a coupler for a spark plug includes a body formed from an electrically conductive material and including a first connecting portion defining a first cavity, and a second connecting portion defining a second cavity spaced from the first cavity, and the body includes an intermediate portion physically and electrically coupling the first connection portion and the second connecting portion. In at least some implementations, the first connecting portion is formed from a wire coiled to define the first cavity within the coil. In at least some implementations, the second connecting portion is formed from a wire coiled to define the second cavity within the coil.

Wire-connecting element
11831115 · 2023-11-28 · ·

A wire-connecting element for connecting a metal wire to a circuit board or to an electrically conductive substrate via a connecting portion (V) of the wire-connecting element. The wire-connecting element has a two-zone portion (Z), which consists of a pre-mounting portion (B) and an adjoining final mounting portion (C). The pre-mounting portion (B) is designed for the attachment of a wire winding (IO). The final mounting portion (C) forms a contact region for the wire winding (IO), which wire winding, in the intended use, is moved, preferably pressed, onto the final mounting portion (C) after the wire winding (IO) has been attached around the pre-mounting portion (B).

CONNECTORS AND METHODS UTILIZING WIRE/LINE WRAPPING
20220255243 · 2022-08-11 ·

A connector, and associated methods, connect conductors or conduits by twisting/wrapping multiple lines around the conductors/conduits after they are inserted into the connector. Flexible/bendable lines extend between relatively rotatable housing portions and through the interior of the connector, parallel to but distanced from the longitudinal axis of the connector. After inserting the conductors/conduits into the connector at/near the longitudinal axis, between the lines, the housing portions are rotated relative to each other, automatically twisting/wrapping the lines around the outer surfaces of the conductors/conduits. This way, the conductors are secured together in electrical contact, or the conduits are secured and fluid-sealed to a hollow tubular insert on which the conduits ends are placed and which connects the interior fluid passageways of the conduits.

PREFORMED WIRE ROUTES

Systems and methods to couple electrical contacts of a header of a medical device to respective feedthrough pins of a connector block of a medical device housing using a preformed wire are disclosed. The preformed wire can include a proximate portion comprising a number of turns shaped to engage a feedthrough pin. The number of turns of the preformed wire, once engaged with the feedthrough pin, can physically separate a major portion of the preformed wire from the connector block and the housing. The major portion of the preformed wire can be shaped to route a distal portion of the preformed wire to a first electrical contact of the header when the proximate portion of the preformed wire engages the feedthrough pin.
