METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING AN ANGLED PLUG CONNECTOR
20180034172 · 2018-02-01 ·

A method for assembling an angled plug connector with a plug connector housing, which has a through channel preferably angled at a right angle in order to receive conductor components extending at an angle relative to one another, wherein a first conductor component introduced from one side (X) into the through channel in the interior of the through channel is connected by non-positive and/or by positive engagement to a second conductor component introduced from the other side (Y) into the through channel. Additionally, an assembly unit for carrying out the method is presented.

A contact including a first connectable part, a second connectable part, and a middle part. The first connectable part includes a tube or plate. The plate has a cross section generally of U-shape, V-shape, C-shape, or L-shape. The tube or the plate includes a base and a first wall. The first wall extends from a first end portion of the base. The middle part includes a base and a first sloped portion. The base of the middle part is contiguously connected between the base of the first connectable part and the second connectable part. The first sloped portion is contiguously connected between the first wall and a first end portion of the second connectable part. The first sloped portion extends from a first end portion of the base of the middle part such that the first sloped portion slopes down toward the first end portion of the second connectable part.

Cable holding member, electrical connection device, connector device, flat cable

The connector device of one embodiment of the present invention includes an electrical connection device and a receptacle connector. The cable holding member includes a supporting part and a wall part. The supporting part includes a supporting face for supporting a flat cable in a folded state. The wall part is provided to the supporting part so as to be on a side of the flat cable in a width direction of the flat cable supported on the supporting part. A groove for receiving a first protrusion of the flat cable is provided to an internal face of the wall part.

Connector

A connector has a socket contact to be electrically connected to a counter-connector contact, the socket contact including: one or more pairs of conduction contact points disposed respectively on both sides of a fitting plane in an elastically displaceable manner; and one or more pairs of displacement regulator contact points disposed respectively on both sides of the fitting plane and coming into contact with the counter-connector contact when the counter-connector contact shifts, the one or more pairs of conduction contact points and the one or more pairs of displacement regulator contact points are disposed side by side in a direction along the fitting plane at a substantially same depth in a fitting direction, each of the pairs of displacement regulator contact points having a gap therebetween larger than that in each of the pairs of conduction contact points.
