Module-housing system and method
A clip-on module having a specialized housing design, probe contacts, switches, various advertising modes, and various configurations of signal repeaters is disclosed. The module is utilized via attachment to a specialized garment worn by a human patient. To properly apply the housing to the garment, a user will squeeze the module to open using tactile features embedded within the housing, locate the module, and then press-clamp the module to close and attach it. A plurality of probe contacts within the module have sharpness requirements for penetrating one or more layers of the garment while still maintaining low resistance, and will work with a backing material for probe.
Spring clip and connector for a flat flexible cable
A spring clip for a flat flexible cable includes a first beam and a second beam connected to the first beam and resiliently deflectable toward the first beam. The second beam has a first contact bend extending toward the first beam. The flat flexible cable is positioned between the first beam and the second beam and the first contact bend abuts a conductor exposed through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable to electrically connect the spring clip with the conductor.

POSITIONING NETWORK OF TRANSMISSION RECEPTION DEVICES AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING TRANSMISSION RECEPTION DEVICES
A network of transmission reception devices can be used for an indoor location system covering an indoor environment. The network includes a power supply system and a number of transmission reception devices. The power supply system includes a power cable with a power line and a power source configured to supply a voltage to the power line of the power cable. The power cable is arranged in the indoor environment. The transmission reception devices each include a transmission reception unit configured to operate as a stationary unit of the indoor location system and a power receiving unit including a connector configured to mechanically connect the transmission reception device to the power cable and to electrically connect the transmission reception unit to the power line for powering the transmission reception unit. Each transmission reception device is connected to the power cable at a respective stationary position.
Connector for a flat flexible cable
A connector for a flat flexible cable includes a housing and a spring clip disposed in the housing. The housing has a main body and a cover. The cover is movable with respect to the main body between an open position and a closed position. The spring clip is resiliently deflectable by the cover. The spring clip is in a first state with the cover in the open position in which the spring clip abuts a conductor exposed through an insulation material of the flat flexible cable with a first contact force. The spring clip is in a second state with the cover in the closed position in which the spring clip abuts the conductor with a second contact force greater than the first contact force.

TWO WIRE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A modular plug including a housing including an opening extending from a back end of the plug to an opposing front wall, a plurality of slots in a top surface of the plug that extend into the cavity, where at least two slots include a conductive material.

Solder-less and tool-less electrical system
An adjustable and reusable electrical assembly has an electrical unit, such as a plug unit or light unit, configured to engage with a cable. The electrical unit has a body that defines a channel connecting opposite pass-through openings. A first contact member and a second contact member are positioned with at least a portion in the body, each contact member having a piercing member. The cable is engageable with the plug unit extending through the channel with one piercing member in conductive contact with one wire and the other piercing member in conductive contact with the other wire. The cable can be disengaged from the plug unit and re-engaged at a different transverse position to change the length of the assembly.
