An installation switching device has a housing and screw connecting clamp with an essentially frame-shaped clamping part having longitudinal faces, narrow faces and broad faces, a head-clamp screw received in a clamping part threaded aperture, and a current rail arranged fixed in the device extending through the frame-shaped clamping part interior, wherein a current rail broad face is oriented, as assembled, parallel to a clamping part broad face facing the head clamping screw, the screw supporting itself, screwed in, on the current rail, wherein consequently, the clamping part is displaceable in its longitudinal direction, parallel to the narrow face, relative to the current rail by further screwing in the head clamping screw so a connecting conductor can be fixedly clamped between the current rail face remote from the screw and the clamping part broad face remote from the screw, the housing having a screw receiving region guiding the screw head.

Spring assist cable clamps

A cable clamp for clamping drop cables to main span cables. The cable clamp has a body that includes an elongated drop cable guide, an elongated main span cable guide, and main body section between the drop cable guide and the main span cable guide. The body has a lower body half and an upper body half. The lower body half is movable relative to the upper body half between at least one open position and a clamping position. When the body is in a clamping position the lower body half and upper body half of the drop cable guide form a drop cable opening, and the lower body half and upper body half of the main span cable guide form a main span cable opening. A stem extends through the lower body half of the main body section and is releasably secured to the upper body half of the main body section such that rotational movement of the stem is translated to movement of the lower body half relative to the upper body half. The stem has a collar and a spring is positioned on the stem between the collar and the lower body half of the main body section to normally bias the body to the clamping position.

CABLE GROUNDING ASSEMBLY FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENCLOSURE

Grounding assemblies for cables entering telecommunications enclosures. The grounding assemblies include a cable fixation subassembly and a grounding subassembly that are electrically coupled together to ground strength members and a conductive shield of a cable. The cable fixation subassembly can fixate the cable such that the strength members lie in a plane that is at a non-zero angle relative to each of a horizontal reference plane and a vertical reference plane.

Grounding assemblies for cables entering telecommunications enclosures. Each wire electrical attachment structure is to secure at least one wire to the elongate bar. A flexible connector wire with two ends that connect to the elongate bar is used to establish an electrical connection between the at least one wire and a secondary distribution line by a crimp connector. A method of connecting an electrical wire with the bar connector is also claimed.

LAY-IN BONDING LUG WITH DUAL CONDUCTOR PATH

A bonding lug assembly includes a bonding lug and a set screw. The bonding lug includes a body that defines a first channel and a second channel. The first channel defines a first conductor path extending in a first direction, and the second channel defines a second conductor path extending in a second direction that is different from the first direction. The set screw is configured to selectively engage the bonding lug and retain a bonding conductor within at least one of the first channel or the second channel.

GROUNDING DEVICES

A shotgun stick for use with grounding devices is provided. An example shotgun stick includes a housing and a drive shaft supported within the housing. The shotgun stick further includes a clamp stick head attached to the housing at a first end and operably connected to a first end of the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft actuates the clamp stick head. The shotgun stick also includes a ratchet locking module that selectively limits rotation of the drive shaft via engagement between a side pin and a ratchet gear of the ratchet locking module. The clamp stick head includes an exterior housing, a head sleeve that defines an opening configured to receive a tool attachment secured thereto, and a slotted inner sleeve positioned between the exterior housing and the head sleeve that prevents rotation of a tool attachment received by the head sleeve.
