A terminal to be connected to a front end part of a wire includes a terminal body and a slide portion. The terminal body includes a sandwiching portion for sandwiching the wire. The slide portion has a tubular shape to be externally fit to the terminal body and includes a pressurizing portion projecting inward from an inner surface of the slide portion. The slide portion is slidable with respect to the terminal body between a non-contact position where the pressurizing portion is not in contact with the sandwiching portion and a contact position forward of the non-contact position, the pressurizing portion being in contact with the sandwiching portion at the contact position. The slide portion has a lower wall, a first side wall extending upward from one side edge of the lower wall and a second sandwiching portion extending upward from the other side edge of the lower wall.

Electric power connector with latching function

An electric power connector for a connective terminal to be plugged in, which includes a carrier, a clamping member, a driven element, a sliding element, and a gear. The clamping member is disposed in the carrier and clamps the connective terminal. The driven element is movably disposed in the carrier and is arranged correspondingly to the clamping member. The sliding element is slidably connected in the carrier and includes a rack and a pushing portion. The gear is rotatably connected to the carrier and engages with the rack. The sliding element is configured to slide relative to the carrier by controlling the gear to rotate. The pushing portion moves with the sliding element to push the driven element to shift to force the clamping member to latch the connective terminal.

Method, system and devices for interconnecting a plurality of devices

An electrical connector is disclosed that includes an insulative housing having a mating face at one end, a rear face at another end, a mating slot at the mating face for receiving a complementary connector, a first set of contacts mounted in a first set of channels incorporated at a top of the insulative housing and a second set of contacts mounted in a second set of channels incorporated at a bottom of the insulative housing, and a shielding device located between the first set of contacts and the second set of contacts.

CONNECTOR WITH CAPTIVE INTERFACE

Wedge type electrical connector assemblies adapted to electrically and mechanically connect conductors within transmission and/or distribution circuits is provided. The wedge type electrical connector assembly includes a frame, an interface and a wedge assembly. The interface is coupled to the frame so that it is movable relative to the frame. The interface can move and flex when installing conductors into the wedge type electrical connector assemblies.

A battery post terminal assembly includes a conductive band and a clamp mechanism. The conductive band includes a first free end and a second free end. The conductive band defines an aperture for receiving a battery post of a battery. The clamp mechanism includes a wedge member that defines a recess between a first surface and a second surface thereof. The recess has an open end and a closed end that is narrower than the open end. The first surface is convex. The first free end and the second free end are positioned in the recess. The first free end is movable along the first surface toward the closed end to be moved by the first surface toward the second free end to tighten the conductive band around the battery post.
