WATERPROOF STRUCTURE FOR TERMINAL OF WIRE WITH TERMINAL FITTING

The present invention provides a waterproof structure for a terminal of a wire with a terminal fitting provided with a waterproof block made of resin, the waterproof block covering an end portion of an insulation coated wire which is coupled to a terminal fitting. The waterproof block includes a waterproof portion covering a coupling portion coupling the end portion of the wire and the terminal fitting, the waterproof portion adhering to an outer circumferential surface of an end of an outer skin of the wire, and a cylindrical portion projecting cylindrically from the waterproof portion along the outer skin of the wire. The cylindrical portion has a smaller cross sectional area than the waterproof portion and has rigidity more similar to the outer skin than the waterproof portion in desired bending and torsional directions of the wire and is adhered to an end-adjacent outer circumferential surface of the outer skin.

Lightning protection system and method

An equipotential bonding system can be provided for a lightning protection system that includes a mast assembly with an internal passageway that includes an internal surface, and a conductor that extends through the internal passageway. The equipotential bonding system can include a deflection member that is disposed at least partly within the internal passageway. The deflection member can be configured to urge the conductor into contact with the internal surface to form a conductive pathway between the mast assembly and the conductor.

Grounding cross connectors including clamping pads for coupling at least two conductors
11251547 · 2022-02-15 · ·

Various implementations of grounding cross connectors are disclosed. The grounding cross connectors may be used to clamp together two or more, often perpendicular, conductors. In some implementations, a grounding cross connector includes an upper clamping pad and a lower clamping pad held together by a pair of threaded fasteners. A pair of perpendicular conductors may be placed in between the clamping pads and secured together by torqueing nuts on the threaded fasteners. The upper clamping pad may include a hook through which one of the threaded fasteners may pass, thereby allowing the upper clamping to rotate relative to the lower clamping pad.
