Systems and methods for smart hoses and smart hose construction

A fluid delivery system includes one or more smart hoses. A smart hose of the one or more smart hoses includes a fluid conduit configured to deliver a fluid. The smart hose further includes a first electrically conductive element configured to deliver electricity through a length of the smart hose.

TERMINAL-ATTACHED ELECTRIC WIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TERMINAL-ATTACHED ELECTRIC WIRE

A terminal-attached electric wire includes: an insulated electric wire which includes a core wire and an insulating material covering the periphery of the core wire; a terminal fitting electrically connected to the core wire at the end of the insulated electric wire; and an adhesive tube covering the end of the insulating material. The terminal-attached electric wire includes a molding portion formed to cover a region extending from a core wire-connected portion of the terminal fitting which is connected to the core wire to a middle portion in an axial direction of the adhesive tube. The outer peripheral surface of the adhesive tube is adhered to the inner peripheral surface of the molding portion. The inner peripheral surface of the adhesive tube is adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the insulating material.

TERMINAL-ATTACHED ELECTRIC WIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TERMINAL-ATTACHED ELECTRIC WIRE

A terminal-attached electric wire includes: an insulated electric wire which includes a core wire and an insulating material covering the periphery of the core wire; a terminal fitting electrically connected to the core wire at the end of the insulated electric wire; and an adhesive tube covering the end of the insulating material. The terminal-attached electric wire includes a molding portion formed to cover a region extending from a core wire-connected portion of the terminal fitting which is connected to the core wire to a middle portion in an axial direction of the adhesive tube. The outer peripheral surface of the adhesive tube is adhered to the inner peripheral surface of the molding portion. The inner peripheral surface of the adhesive tube is adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the insulating material.

Electrical connector and connector assembly

An electrical connector includes an inner signal contact, an outer shielding contact, and a cover. The outer contact has a crimping portion including a first crimp wing and a second crimp wing that are bendable towards each other to attach the outer shielding contact to a cable such that ends of the first crimp wing and the second crimp wing extend towards each other when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable. The cover is configured to cover a braid or a protective layer of the cable that is arranged underneath the ends of the crimp wings when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable.

Electrical connector and connector assembly

An electrical connector includes an inner signal contact, an outer shielding contact, and a cover. The outer contact has a crimping portion including a first crimp wing and a second crimp wing that are bendable towards each other to attach the outer shielding contact to a cable such that ends of the first crimp wing and the second crimp wing extend towards each other when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable. The cover is configured to cover a braid or a protective layer of the cable that is arranged underneath the ends of the crimp wings when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable.

A solid ring-conductor assemblage (20) blocks water from migrating in the axial direction of an electrical stranded conductor (1). The solid ring-conductor assemblage (20) has a ring and an electrical stranded conductor. The diameter of an initial opening of the ring exceeds an outer diameter of the stranded conductor (1). The solid ring-conductor assemblage (20) is obtained by the process of placing the ring in an installed position where the electrical stranded conductor (1) runs through the initial opening. A compressive force (F) is applied onto the ring (2) in the installed position thereby compressing the ring (2) as well as the portion of the electrical stranded conductor (1) as covered by the ring into a compressed state. The compressed ring and the compressed portion of the electrical stranded conductor bonds as an entity providing the solid ring-conductor assemblage (20). A ring is provided to obtain the solid ring-conductor assemblage; a cable has a stranded electrical conductor where at least one ring is compressed around the electrical stranded conductor; and a method includes manufacturing an electrical stranded conductor arranged with at least one solid ring-conductor assemblage.

Assemblage for blocking water

A wire harness including: a first conductor; a second conductor electrically connected to the first conductor; and a tubular contraction tube that covers a connection between the first conductor and the second conductor, wherein a determination pattern that includes a first determination pattern that allows a first contraction rate in a radial direction of the contraction tube to be determined is printed on an outer circumferential surface of the contraction tube.

WIRE HARNESS

A wire harness including: a first conductor; a second conductor electrically connected to the first conductor; and a tubular contraction tube that covers a connection between the first conductor and the second conductor, wherein a determination pattern that includes a first determination pattern that allows a first contraction rate in a radial direction of the contraction tube to be determined is printed on an outer circumferential surface of the contraction tube.

An electric energy transmission aluminum part, an aluminum connector and a copper-aluminum joint. The electric energy transmission aluminum part includes an aluminum body (1) internally provided with a conical insertion hole (11) which penetrates through front and rear ends thereof. The conical insertion hole is provided with a maximum diameter end and a minimum diameter end. Both the aluminum connector and the copper-aluminum joint include the electric energy transmission aluminum part. The electric energy transmission aluminum part, the aluminum connector and the copper-aluminum joint not only avoid an insulation layer (3) from being crimped into a lead portion and increasing a resistance of the lead portion, but also prevent an indentation from being formed on the surface of the insulation layer (3) and causing breakdown, and further reduce an interference with a mating end environment, thus achieving a wide application range. In addition, the copper-aluminum joint can also save the processing working hours and resources.
