Insulation piercing connector
Mechanical-type electrical connectors having insulation piercing screws used to create an electrically conductive path between a run conductor secured to the connector and a branch conductor secured to the connector are provided.
NOVEL CONNECTION TERMINAL
A novel cable connector comprises a main body, a clamp, a conductor assembly, and a controller. The main body is provided with an installation cavity and a receiving slot, and both sides of the receiving slot extend longitudinally to form a left and right wing. The clamp is arranged in the receiving slot, the receiving slot forming a passage for accommodating a cable. The conductor assembly is arranged on the installation cavity of the main body, and comprises a sharp lower end, which protrudes from the top surface of the receiving slot and is located in the passage. The clamp is located between the controller and the main body, the controller cooperates with the left wing and the right wing under an external force to directly apply a force to the clamp to drive the clamp to move towards the top surface of the receiving slot.
Connectors and wireless controllers for wired lighting systems
A connector and a wireless controller for a wired lighting system are disclosed. The connector and wireless controller and connected via two wires. The connector also has at least one cap that covers two channels for electrically coupling additional two wires—one wire for connecting to a power supply and another wire for connecting to one or more lighting devices. The connector can be easily installed in an existing wired lighting system to retrofit the system with a wireless controller.
Systems and methods for a cable connector
A connector for receiving a ribbon cable is provided. The connector includes a housing including an open top, a cable organizer, and a cover. The cable organizer is configured to be positioned within an interior of the housing and configured to receive the ribbon cable upon an upper surface thereof. The cover is configured to selectively cover the open top of the housing to enclose the cable organizer within the interior of the housing. The cover is coupled to the housing and includes a latch configured to engage the housing and the cable organizer and move in a both vertical direction relative to the housing and rotate relative to the housing.
JUNCTION BOX
Junction box for connecting a multi-wire flat cable to several terminals of a connection. The junction box comprises a support surface for a multi-wire flat cable to be contacted, and several contact blades for contacting the cable on one side without stripping the insulation. In addition, the junction box comprises several terminals, and several terminal rails adjoining the terminals, wherein each terminal rail has at least one hole, wherein a contact pin is inserted through a respective hole in a terminal rail. In each case, a contact pin is provided for a wire-to-terminal contact. The assignment of contact pins to the holes in the terminal rails defines which wire of the flat cable is connected to which terminal. An electrical contact is established between contact blades and terminal rails via one or more contact pins.
BRIDGE/SPLITTER CONNECTOR FOR CONFIGURING ELECTRICAL SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a bridge/splitter connector for configuring an electrical signal distribution network. The bridge/splitter connector includes a body block and two cable retention covers, each configured to removably engage the body block. The body block has two cable channels, each configured to receive a multi-conductor flat cable therewithin. Each cable channel has a plurality of conductive piercing members laterally spaced apart from one another for piercing insulation of the multi-conductor flat cables received so as to conductively contact a corresponding one of a plurality of conductive wires of the multi-conductor flat cable. Each of the plurality of conductive piercing members of each cable channel is conductively coupled to a corresponding one of the plurality of piercing members of the other cable channel, The cable retention members are configured to retain the multi-conductor flat cables received within the cable channels when engaged with the body block.
FIXING STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR
A fixing structure of a connector is disclosed. The connector includes an insert portion and multiple wires connected to the insert portion. The fixing structure includes a wire binding block, a lower shell and an upper shell disposed with multiple first engaging structures. The lower shell is disposed with multiple second engaging structures separately corresponding to the first engaging structures and connected with the upper shell to form a chamber for receiving the connector and form a wiring hole for being passed by the wires. The wires are extended from the insert portion toward the wiring hole to form a bend section and a curve section in the chamber. The wire binding block is fixed on the curve section of the wires and clamped by the upper shell and the lower shell through engagement of the first engaging structures and the second engaging structures.
Electrical connection bails and stirrup systems and methods including same
A bail for forming a mechanical and electrical connection includes an inboard section and an outboard section. The inboard section includes an elongate, electrically conductive multi-strand conductor. The outboard section includes an elongate, electrically conductive solid rod conductor electrically connected to the multi-strand conductor.
Systems and methods for a cable connector
A connector for receiving a ribbon cable is provided. The connector includes a housing with an open top, and a cable organizer configured to be positioned within an interior of the housing and the open top and to receive the ribbon cable. The cable organizer includes a surface with a first cable grab hook adjacent a first end thereof, configured to receive a first portion of the ribbon cable via a snap-fit engagement. The connector also includes cover configured to selectively cover the open top of the housing to enclose the cable organizer within the interior of the housing. The cover includes a notch extending therethrough, sized to receive an upper detent of the cable organizer so that the upper detent extends through the notch and remains viewable when the cover encloses the cable organizer within the interior of the housing.
Single pair ethernet field terminable connector
A communications connector has a middle barrel, top sled, and bottom sled. The top sled has a top wire opening and a top insulation displacement contact (IDC) hole with the top IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the top wire opening. The top sled has a top IDC channel containing a top IDC. The bottom sled has a bottom wire opening and a bottom IDC hole with the bottom IDC hole providing access to a wire inserted into the bottom wire opening. The bottom sled also has a bottom IDC channel with a bottom IDC. The top and bottom sleds are can be fitted together and inserted into the middle barrel with the top IDC engaging a wire inserted into the bottom wire opening through the bottom IDC hole and the bottom IDC engaging a wire inserted into the top wire opening through the top IDC hole.
