COMPRESSION CONNECTORS WITH INSULATING COVER
The present disclosure provides embodiments of insulated compression-type electrical connectors used to connect one or more branch wires or conductors to one or more run wires or conductors.
Circuit for vehicle
Power is supplied and a communication path secured by connecting various accessories to branch lines, each of which branches from a main line included in backbone structures. Control of power distribution and the like is implemented by communication between higher-level control units arranged in a smart power supply box, for example, and lower-level control units arranged in area drivers, for example. A switching circuit is arranged at a connection location between the main lines and the branch lines, and is automatically switched such that the terminals to be connected are coordinated. Specifications such as the current of multiple terminals on the power supply side are commonly fixed, and the power to be distributed is controlled by switching the number of terminals to be used. Component standardization and a reduction in part numbers are made easier. The connection position can be freely changed.
CONNECTOR
Provided is a connector that can enhance the waterproof performance without reducing a pressure of a contact surface between fillers in a fitted state. A connector (10) according to the present disclosure includes a pair of fitting objects to be fitted to each other and a filler (70), a contact (50) and a wall (42) provided in the fitting objects. The wall (42) separates the filler (70) and the contact (50) after the fitting objects are fitted to each other.
POSITIONING ELEMENT AND CONTACTING ELEMENT FOR TWIN AXIAL CABLES
The invention relates to a positioning element for twin axial cables as well as to a contacting element comprising a positioning element of said type. In an illustrative embodiment of a positioning element for twin axial cables, the positioning element is at least partially electroconductive. Furthermore, the positioning element has at least one recess which is arranged and designed to accommodate a twin axial cable in such a way that an electroconductive connection is established between an outer conductor of the twin axial cable and the positioning element.
Connectors for landscape lighting systems
A connector includes a cable tray configured to receive and retain a cable in a stable position and couple with a top cap configured to create an electrical connection with the cable as the top cap is manipulated in a predetermined manner while coupled with the cable tray. An upper surface of the cable tray is configured to receive the cable (e.g., while the cable is generally parallel with the longitudinal axis of the cable tray). The cable tray also includes a finger extending beyond the first end for some distance longitudinally. The finger includes a protrusion that protrudes to some extent in a transverse direction so that a cable-accommodating gap is defined between the protrusion and the first end. The protrusion is configured to bear against the cable and retain the cable in the stable position when the cable is inserted between the protrusion and the first end (before, during and/or after an electrical connection is established).
INSULATION PIERCING CONNECTOR
The present disclosure provides embodiments of mechanical-type electrical connectors having insulation piercing screws used to create an electrically conductive path between a run conductor secured to the connector and a branch conductor secured to the connector.
Electrical connector having an electrical device mounted to a flexible carrier
An electrical connector includes at least two electrical connector elements extending side by side along a longitudinal direction, each of the electrical connector elements being connectable to a respective wire of an associated electrical cable. An electrical device is in electrical contact with the respective electrical connector elements. A flexible carrier bears inwardly against the electrical connector elements. The electrical device is mounted on an inner side of the flexible carrier which faces the connector elements.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR RENDERING ELECTRICAL CABLES SAFE
A safe grounding apparatus (SGA) for safely grounding or neutralizing the electrical conductors for permanent magnet motor (PMM) powered artificial lift systems and methods of practicing the same are disclosed. The SGA of the present invention ameliorates some of the dangers associated with PMM's. Methods of shorting, grounding, testing and monitoring the electrical conductors of a permanent magnet motor in order to safely manipulate the conductors are also disclosed.
FLEXIBLE, INTERRUPTIBLE RADIAL BUS AND BUS-MOUNTED BEAD DEVICE
A multi-conductor bus with radially arranged conductor wires on which addressable bead devices that may incorporate light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or other surface mount devices (SMDs) can be easily mounted. The radial bus is designed to provide an improved range of flexibility and motion while allowing for easy addition of bead devices along its length that can utilize self-addressing bus protocols such as cascading device protocols. The design of the flexible, interruptible radial bus facilitates the use of pass-through and interrupted paths along the bus that can simplify the installation of addressable devices along the bus such as the bus-mounted bead devices disclosed herein.
Compression connector
The present disclosure provides embodiments of compression-type electrical connectors used to connect one or more branch wires or conductors to one or more run wires or conductors.
