PLUG CONNECTOR ARRANGEMENT WITH COMPENSATION SLEEVE
A plug connector arrangement having a plug connector and a cable connected thereto, at least one inner conductor and an outer conductor surrounding the inner conductor, wherein the outer conductor of the cable is electrically connected to an outer conductor housing of the plug connector. The plug connector arrangement additionally has a sleeve part which surrounds the inner conductor, has approximately the same inner diameter (D) as the outer conductor (34) of the cable, adjoins a front axial end (A) of the outer conductor, and continues a shielding of the inner conductor in the direction of the front cable end.
Tool
A tool for mounting a coaxial cable on a first connector is disclosed, wherein the coaxial cable extending along a first axial is adapted to pass through a first outer sleeve of the first connector, wherein the tool comprises a plunger; and a mold comprising an upper mold hinge and a lower mold hinge, wherein the upper mold hinge pivotally connected to the lower mold hinge so as to rotate the upper mold hinge relative to the lower mold hinge with respect to a rotation axis, and a second axial direction of the rotation axis is parallel to the first axial direction, wherein the plunger is adapted to push the first connector so as to force the upper mold hinge and the lower mold hinge to press the first outer sleeve so as to deform the first outer sleeve radially.
Connector having an inner conductor engager
A connector includes: (i) an inner conductor engager comprising at least one tab being flexible to define an opening engager, (ii) a driver configured to drive the inner conductor engager to a desired position along the inner conductor, and (iii) a housing coupled to the inner conductor engager. The opening is configured to receive an inner conductor of a coaxial cable and extends through the entire inner conductor engager thus allowing the inner conductor to electrically connect to an interface port.
CONNECTOR CABLE
A connector cable includes a plurality of contacts placed in a row and a plurality of cables connected to the plurality of contacts. The plurality of cables includes at least three pairs of high-speed differential signal lines for transmitting high-speed differential signals, at least one non-high-speed differential signal line for transmitting a non-high-speed differential signal, and a plurality of ground terminals. The plurality of ground terminals is allocated to contacts on both ends among the plurality of contacts and a contact between two pairs of high-speed differential signal lines or between one pair of high-speed differential signal lines and one non-high-speed differential signal line to limit the number of consecutive pairs of high-speed differential signal lines to two.
