Connector assembly for electrically connecting an inverter busbar to an electrical connector of a drive unit comprising: a carrier, an intermediate busbar comprising a first terminal with a hole, and a first fastening element extending through the hole of the first terminal, wherein the intermediate busbar is mounted to the carrier and the intermediate busbar is connectable to the inverter busbar by the first fastening element, wherein the carrier comprises a positioning pin defining a longitudinal axis, said positioning pin being adapted to be accommodated in a receptacle of a housing of the drive unit such that the carrier is axially slidable in the direction of the longitudinal axis; and that the first fastening element is arranged within the hole of the first terminal with a radial clearance relative to the longitudinal axis of the positioning pin.

One or more of the cutter plates may have a contact projection for making an electrical connection. The connector includes the terminal and may further include a housing. The holding plates of the terminal have outer edges with abutment features for engaging interior surfaces of the housing.

An assembly to electrically attach equipment is provided. The assembly may include a junction box and the equipment may include solar panels. The junction box may include a housing with side openings through which interconnecting conductors may pass through and into an inner cavity within the box. The housing also may include bottom openings through which conductors from the solar panel may pass through and into the inner cavity within the box. Within the cavity, the junction box may include flat conductive plates to which the ends of the conductors are electrically connected. In this way, a set of junction boxes may be used to electrically connect a group of solar panels in series. Each junction box may also include a diode configured between its flat conductive plates.

Disclosed is a terminal block including: a lower bus bar and an upper bus bar that overlap each other at overlap portions and an insulating middle cover disposed between the overlap portion of the lower bus bar and the overlap portion of the upper bus bar, wherein the lower bus bar and the upper bus bar are provided with their respective ones of first to fourth terminals exposed from the middle cover, at positions different from the overlap portions and the first to fourth terminals are disposed at positions radially spaced apart from the overlap portions.
