Terminal fitting with a plurality of wire connection portions

A terminal fitting includes a fastening portion and a wire connection portion. The fastening portion is formed with an installation insertion hole through which a fixing member is inserted. The wire connection portion extends from a peripheral edge portion of the fastening portion. A notch is provided in the fastening portion so as to extend along the peripheral edge of an opening of the installation insertion hole and between the installation insertion hole and the wire connection portion. A through hole or a thin recessed portion is formed on the notch at an intersection portion between the notch and an axis in an extending direction of the wire connection portion.

COMBINATION TERMINAL

The present invention enables assembling by hand work. This combination terminal is provided with: a first terminal fitting (11) that has a first substrate part (12); and a second terminal fitting (41) that has a second substrate part (42) to be stacked on the first substrate part (12) and is assembled to the first terminal fitting (11) by being shifted in a direction crossing a stacking direction. An elastically deformable first elastic lock piece (22) is formed in the first terminal fitting (11), a second lock part (46) that locks the first terminal fitting (11) and the second terminal fitting (41) in an assembled state by engaging with the first elastic lock piece (22) is formed in the second terminal fitting (41), and a first protection part (28) that prevents interference of foreign matter with the first elastic lock piece (22) is formed integrally with the first terminal fitting (11).

An apparatus and method for splicing single pair ethernet (SPE) cables. By creating a T shaped intersection, the splicing device allows for sensors and other devices to run perpendicular in relation to the original cable. The splicing device further enables the cable to have multiple drop points along the cable.

Terminal block

A terminal block includes an insulating casing defining a recess receiving a conductive bar and a retaining spring. The conductive bar includes a base portion, a support leg attached to the base portion and a cooperating leg attached to the base portion. In a mounted position of the conductive bar and the retaining spring within the recess, the support leg engages with a support part of the retaining spring, and the cooperating leg is positioned to engage with a conductor inserted into a plug of the terminal block.

CABLE CONNECTOR AND CABLE TERMINATION
20190081421 · 2019-03-14 ·

A first aspect relates to cable connectors for connecting two multicore cables, namely, two flat cables or one flat cable and one round cable. The cable connector includes a clamping sleeve, having a ceramic insulator with at least two openings, one on each side of the clamping sleeve, for accommodating core conductors. The clamping sleeve includes at least two contact inserts that pass through the clamping sleeve at corresponding openings on both sides. Clamping elements are associated with each of the at least two contact inserts in order to clamp the core conductors on one side or the other side of the contact inserts, and thus to establish electrical contact between the clamping sleeve and the multicore flat cable or round cable, thereby connecting the two cables. The cable connector also includes a heat shrink tube that envelops the entering portions of the cables and the clamping sleeve, and in the shrunken state lies tightly against an outer contour of the clamping sleeve and an outer contour of the portion of the cables that enter the clamping sleeve.

A second aspect relates to a cable termination for the insulating termination of a multicore flat cable. The cable termination includes a clamping sleeve that includes a ceramic insulator with at least two openings on one side of the clamping sleeve for accommodating core conductors. The clamping sleeve includes at least two contact inserts situated behind the openings, a clamping element being associated with each of the at least two contact inserts in order to clamp the core conductors on the contact inserts and thus establish mechanical fixing of the core conductors on the clamping sleeve so as to electrically insulate them from one another, and thus to terminate the cable. The cable termination also includes a heat shrink tube that envelops the entering portion of the cable and the clamping sleeve, and in the shrunken state lies tightly against an outer contour of the clamping sleeve and an outer contour of the portion of the cable that enters the clamping sleeve.

SUPPORT SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR RAPID ASSEMBLY OF COMPONENTS AND INFRASTRUCTURES WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS, POWER AND OTHER INSTRUMENTALITIES
20190063639 · 2019-02-28 · ·

A system of interlocking blocks and rods or tubes for rapid assembly of component infrastructures, where one or more of those components have electronics, power or other instrumentalities built into the component during manufacture, such as by 3-D printing, and the components thereof and methods therefor. The rods or tubes, blocks (for interlocking the rods/tubes) and through-holes allow not only structural stability but interconnectivity of electricity, power or other functionalities. The methodology of the present invention provides a paradigm for modeling more costly and complicated systems. Also, product packaging for products made pursuant to the present invention is scaled so as to be usable in the application of the parts.
