There is provided a terminal for an electrical power cable that includes a conductive clip, a terminal block, and a set screw. The clip resides in the terminal block and includes a plurality of openings sized to receive low voltage connectors, such as spade connectors. The openings in the clip are arranged to organize the spade connectors and their respective pigtail connections. The location and orientation of the clip and the spade connectors is such that, when the set screw is installed in the terminal block, force is applied by the set screw onto the clip. The clip compresses and secures the spade connectors to the terminal block.

SOCKET MODULE

A socket module includes a positioning seat, a live wire conductive sheet, a neutral wire conductive sheet, a ground wire conductive sheet, and a fixing seat. The live wire conductive sheet, the neutral line conductive sheet, and the ground wire conductive sheet are installed on the positioning seat and then assembled into the fixing seat to form an integrated socket module. The socket module has a live wire slot hole corresponding the live wire conductive sheet, a neutral wire slot hole corresponding to the neutral wire conductive sheet, and a ground wire slot hole corresponding to the ground wire conductive sheet in three different directions. The socket module can be installed in single or multiple socket housings to realize a small-sized multi-slot socket that is compact, safe and reliable.

Compressible electrical assemblies with divaricated-cut sections

Various configurations of compressible electrical assemblies are disclosed herein. Each variation of the compressible electrical assemblies includes at least one dielectric, an inner conductor and an outer conductor. Each inner and outer conductor may be configured as a compressible contact. One embodiment of a compressible electrical assembly includes an inner compressible contact, and outer compressible contact and a dielectric disposed at least partially between the inner compressible contact and the outer compressible contact. Each compressible contact also has a divaricated-cut section with a plurality of cuts defined by at least one cut angle measured between a pair of opposing inner surfaces.

An engine block heater and an engine block heater cord set. The heater has a cavity formed from a plurality of opposed lobes spaced symmetrically about its upper end. The lobes matingly engage a connector of a cord set. First and second electrical terminal are disposed within opposed lobes and are electrically coupled to a heating element. The cord set comprises an electrical power cord engagable with the heater. A connector includes a plurality of power contacts, where the number of power contacts is four or more and a multiple of two. Each of the power contacts is electrically bonded to one of first and second electrical conductors. The power contacts are positioned symmetrically relative to one another on the connector with diagonally opposite contacts having a different polarity and spaced apart by a distance generally equal to the distance between the electrical terminals of the heater.

Electrical wire with terminal, and wire harness structure

A covered conductive wire is configured by covering a conductive wire with an insulating cover portion. The conductive wire is formed of an aluminum-based material, for example. A crimping portion includes a cover crimping portion for crimping the cover portion of the covered conductive wire, and a conductor crimping portion for crimping a portion of the conductive wire that is exposed when the cover portion is removed at the tip portion of the covered conductive wire. It is possible to use polyvinyl chloride and/or a non-halogen member, for example, for the cover portion of the covered conductive wire, and a plasticizer, filler, stabilizer, or the like is compounded as needed. A material that shrinks by a factor of 7% or less after being allowed to stand for 120 hours at a high temperature of 120 C. is used for this cover portion.

Connection structure of terminal fitting and connection method of terminal fitting

A terminal fitting includes a terminal body and terminal connection parts extended from the terminal body. Connection terminals each has a pair of caulking pieces, and each of the connection terminals configured to be connected to an end part of an electric wire. In each of the terminal connection parts, the connection terminal is caulked to the terminal connection part so that the pair of caulking pieces enfold outsides of a pair of caulked pieces provided on the terminal connection part in a state that a bottom face between the pair of caulking pieces faces an opening between ends portions of the pair of caulked pieces. The terminal fitting is connected to the electric wires through the connection terminals.
