A hot wire connected with the power terminal extends from the mount plate housing. The hot wire is configured to connect with a corresponding hot wire of the audiovisual device. A ground wire extending from the mount plate housing is configured to be connected with a corresponding ground wire of the audiovisual device. A first insulation piercing interconnect is connected with the hot wire. The first insulation piercing interconnect is configured to connect the hot wire with the corresponding hot wire of the audiovisual device. A second insulation piercing interconnect is connected with the ground wire. The second insulation piercing interconnect is configured to connect the ground wire with the corresponding ground wire of the audiovisual device.

Connector assembly and method of manufacturing the same

A connector assembly includes a first connector having a first connector body and a first connecting portion protruding from the first connector body, a second connector having a second connector body and a second connecting portion protruding from the second connector body, the second connecting portion overlapping the first connecting portion in a direction perpendicular to a central axis of the second connector, and a terminal fastening lance protruding from the first connector body and extending on an inner side of the second connector body. Of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion, one disposed on a relatively outer side has a transmitting material that allows a laser to pass therethrough and the other disposed on a relatively inner side has an absorbing material that absorbs the laser. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are connected to each other through laser welding.

Various implementations of insulation piercing connectors are disclosed. The insulation piercing connectors include a simple and efficient design for providing electrical tap connections to a power cable for voltage detection purposes. The insulation piercing connector includes at least a top housing and a bottom housing that come together to receive the power cable. Terminal contacts are housed internally within the insulation piercing connector, and the terminal contacts are positioned to pierce the power cable when the insulation piercing connector is assembled into an operational state.

Plug contact

A plug contact stamped from a strip of sheet metal, the plug contact including cut edges and rolled sides; a clamping section configured to fix the plug contact in a contact carrier; a contact fork formed by two spring elastic contact arms forming a receiving cavity between each other and including cut edges that are oriented towards each other, wherein a first end of the two spring elastic contact arms respectively originates from the clamping section and a second end of the two spring elastic contact arms respectively forms a contact bud, wherein the two spring elastic contact arms include rolled sides that are oriented towards each other and produced by forming the second end of the spring elastic contact arms respectively.

WIRE HARNESS

A wire harness that includes an electric wire including a core wire and an insulation coating that covers an outer circumference of the core wire; an electromagnetic shield that surrounds an outer circumference of the insulation coating; a connection terminal that is electrically connected to an end of the core wire; a connector housing that holds the connection terminal and is made of a synthetic resin; a shielding pipe that extends from an inside to an outside of the connector housing in a protruding manner; and a fixing member that fixes an end of the electromagnetic shield to an outer circumferential surface of a portion of the shielding pipe that is disposed outside the connector housing in an electrically connected state.

Conductive component structure of conductive wire connection device

A conductive component structure of conductive wire connection device is more securely assembled with the conductive wire to enhance the electro-conduction performance. The conductive component includes a main body in the form of a plate body and a restriction body connected on the main body. The restriction body has a base section, a first arm and a second arm connected with the base section and free sections connected with the first and second arms, which together provide elastic holding action force for the restriction body. When the conductive wire is plugged into the case into contact with the conductive component, the rear end of the conductive wire is at least securely pressed between the first and second arms of the restriction body without deflecting or swinging due to external force.
