Magnetized Data Connector Assembly
A magnetized data connector assembly includes a male data coupler that is insertable into a female data port on a first electronic device. A female data coupler is engageable to a male data port on a second electronic device. The female data coupler releasably engages the male data coupler thereby facilitating the female data coupler to disengage from the male data coupler. In this way each of the male data coupler and the female data coupler inhibit the female data port and the male data port from being damaged. Moreover, the first female data port is in electrical communication with the first male data port to facilitating electronic communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device.
Electrical connector with translationally movable electrical contacts and magnetic retaining element
An electrical plug and socket having electrical contacts that are magnetically retained to the counterpart electrical contacts, where the electrical contacts may be optionally be mounted for translational movement, optionally including a sprung carrier arranged to provide a counter-force to at least one direction of translational movement.
Modular electronic building systems and methods of using the same
In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a first connector including a first housing portion having top and bottom surfaces and a second connector including a second housing portion having top and bottom surfaces. The second housing portion has a form factor substantially corresponding to a form factor of the first housing portion. A circuit board having top and bottom surfaces is permanently coupled to the first housing portion and to the second housing portion such that a first portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board contacts at least a portion of the top surface of the first housing portion and a second portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board contacts at least a portion of the top surface of the second housing portion. A contact assembly is coupled to the first housing portion and electrically and directly engages a portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board.

Magnetic assembly structure
The present disclosure relates to a magnetic assembly structure which utilizes a magnetic attraction or repulsion effect generated by two magnetic components to make two buckle structures automatically engaged to each other. The magnetic assembly structure of the present disclosure has a first main body and a second main body, and via the hardware design of disposing magnetic components and buckle structures respectively on the first main body and the second main body, the first and second main bodies rotate in respect to each other due to the magnetic attraction or repulsion effect, so as to efficiently engage the two buckle structures each other. Thus, it actually eases the installation and uninstallation of the appliance to which the magnetic assembly structure is applied, and the costs of installation and consuming time are reduced.

Controller and system
According to one embodiment, a controller may include a user interface that is operable to receive input from a user to control an electronic system to which the controller may be coupled either directly or indirectly. The user interface may comprise an interface housing to which the user interface is coupled, the interface housing having a front portion and a rear portion, the front portion of which may contain the user interface. A controller housing may be coupled to the rear portion of the interface housing, the controller housing having a smaller perimeter than the interface housing. The controller housing may be comprised of at least one sidewall and a rear wall. At least one magnet may be coupled to the controller housing. The magnet(s) may be operable to hold the controller in position using magnetic force when the controller housing is inserted into a mounting receptacle.

Self-locking connector
A self-locking connector provides an electrical connection between sources, equipment, devices, and the like. The self-locking connector generally includes first and second connector components with first and second housings that include corresponding electrically conductive elements, first and second magnetic elements, and first and second lock elements. One housing includes stationary and movable housing components. The connector components are brought into a coupled state with the corresponding electrically conductive elements providing an electrical connection. As the connector components are brought into the coupled state, the movable housing component automatically moves and brings the locking elements into locked engagement. The magnetic elements urge the connector components in the coupled state and the locking elements in locked engagement. The movable housing component is manually moved to bring the lock components out of locked engagement and the connector components out of the coupled state to break the electrical connection.
Magnetic electrical outlet assembly
A magnetic electrical outlet assembly for supplying electrical power to an electronic device includes an outlet that is wired into electrical communication with an electrical system in a building. A wall plate is magnetically attachable to the outlet and the wall plate receives the electrical power from the electrical system. A socket is magnetically attachable to the wall plate and the socket receives electrical power from the electrical system. A female electrical outlet is integrated into the socket to receive a male electrical plug.
