ANTI-SPRAIN SHOCK-ABSORBING BALANCE AIR-CUSHION SHOE
An anti-sprain shock-absorbing balance air-cushion shoe includes a shoe insert and a sole, it further includes two airbags communicating with each other, two airbag rooms are formed in the upper surface of the sole, used to contain the two airbags respectively, the two airbag rooms are arranged in the sole along the left-and-right direction, which are stretchable and compressible, and the combination of the shoe insert and the sole fixes the two airbags in the two airbag rooms respectively. In the air-cushion shoe, two intercommunicated airbags are mounted in the sole, when an airbag room on one side of the sole steps onto a foreign matter, the airbag room on the side is compressed, and the airbag in the compressed airbag room is also compressed, gas in the compressed airbag flows to the other airbag, which prevents the sole from rolling over and keeps the sole to be in balance.
Capacitive foot presence sensing devices for footwear
A foot presence sensor system for an active article of footwear can include a sensor housing configured to be disposed at or in an insole of the article, and a controller circuit, disposed within the sensor housing, configured to trigger one or more automated functions of the footwear based on a foot presence indication. In an example, the sensor system includes a capacitive sensor configured to sense changes in a capacitance signal in response to proximity of a body. A dielectric member can be provided between the capacitive sensor and the body to enhance an output signal from the sensor.
Protected wearables
An apparatus and method of making the same is presented. The apparatus may comprise a front portion comprising a front exterior panel and a front interior panel, a back portion comprising a back exterior panel and a back interior panel, the back connected along two sides of the back exterior panel to two corresponding sides of the front exterior panel; and a closure part connecting the non-connected sides of the front exterior panel and the back exterior panel. The front interior panel and the back exterior panel may each comprise a slit opening for a pocket. The closure part may comprise a zipper having a key tab. The apparatus may comprise an RF blocking material. The front may further comprise a flat portion having embossed text, and may also comprise a key chain band. The apparatus may be a wallet, handbag, or other luxury accessory, and/or a wearable item.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FOR ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR
An article of footwear can include provisions for facilitating the installation of various components such as a lighting apparatus. During manufacture of the article of footwear, the upper and/or sole structure can include a chamber designed to receive the lighting apparatus. The lighting apparatus can be installed in the chamber after manufacture of the article of footwear. In some cases, the lighting apparatus can include provisions for facilitating the installation of the lighting apparatus in the chamber, including a removable handle portion that can help guide the lighting apparatus within the chamber.
Capacitive foot presence sensing for footwear
A foot presence sensor system for an active article of footwear can include a sensor housing configured to be disposed at or in an insole of the article, and a controller circuit, disposed within the sensor housing, configured to trigger one or more automated functions of the footwear based on a foot presence indication. In an example, the sensor system includes a capacitive sensor configured to sense changes in a capacitance signal in response to proximity of a body. A dielectric member can be provided between the capacitive sensor and the body to enhance an output signal from the sensor.
BOOT WITH INTERNAL FIREARM HOLSTER
A footwear article having a permanent interior holster, the footwear article configured to secure a firearm to an interior shaft of a boot. The holster includes a sleeve having a plurality of slits disposed through the sleeve, the plurality of slits approximately parallel with a centerline of the interior shaft. The holster further includes a flexible backing connected to the sleeve, whereby insertion of the firearm between the flexible backing and interior shaft creates a compressive force to secure the firearm between the flexible backing and interior shaft. The footwear article further includes a band connected between the holster and an exterior shaft of the boot, whereby the firearm is further secured between the band and the holster.
Footwear Having Sensor System
An article of footwear includes an upper member and a sole structure, with a sensor system connected to the sole structure. The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors that are configured for detecting forces exerted by a user's foot on the sensor. The sensor system also includes a port that is configured to receive a module to place the module in communication with the sensors. The port includes a housing with a chamber configured to receive the module and an interface engaged with the housing and having at least one electrical contact exposed to the chamber. Additional retaining structure and interface structure may be included.
Adjustable sole support system
A removable and adjustable insert for footwear has slots placed in the insole and/or midsole of the shoe to allow access to the arch and/or metatarsal and/or heel regions of the insole and/or midsole. In an embodiment, an insert placed into the arch insert slot that establishes how much the arch protrudes above the remainder of the top surface of the insole. One or more inserts are provided having different thicknesses so that the height of the arch can be varied by the user or at the direction of a third party, such as a doctor or a trainer.
FOOTBED FOR USE IN OPEN FOOTWEAR FOR RELEASABLY RETAINING ORTHOTIC INSERTS
A modified footbed is provided for use in an open shoe for releasably retaining an orthotic. The modified footbed comprises: a sole, the sole including a toe end, a heel end, a heel region proximate the heel end, a sole margin and a heel sole margin; and a cover, the cover including a cover margin, a heel cover margin and a heel flap, the sole and the cover attached to one another along the cover margin and the sole margin to define a pocket for accepting an orthotic, the heel flap and the sole at the heel region including at least one mating pair on the heel sole margin and the heel cover margin. An open shoe with the modified footbed is also provided, as is a combination of the open shoe with the modified footbed and an orthotic.
CO-MOLDED 3D ELEMENTS
Describes are support elements for a sole of a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, a sole and a shoe with such a support element, as well as a method for the manufacture of a support element. As examples, the support element includes a first partial member formed of a first material, and a second partial member formed of a second material. The first partial member is mechanically joined to the second partial member in a connection region, wherein the connection region is configured to allow the first partial member to rotate or slide relative to the second partial member. The first partial member, the second partial member, and the connection region can be co-molded and joined together in a single fabricating step.
