Power electronics arrangement including a printed circuit board and at least one power module fastened on the printed circuit board, which has one or more electronic components potted by a potting compound. At least one module connecting point of the power module is electrically contacted with at least one board connecting point of the printed circuit board by an electrically conductive pin. A base section of the pin is fastened on the module connecting point or on the board connecting point, and the end of the pin opposite to the base section is pressed in the installation position into a contacting opening assigned or assignable to the respective other connecting point.

An adapter card with compression-attached memory modules that can be inserted into a conventional vertical connector enables use of CAMMs in systems with vertical memory module connectors. In one example, an adapter card or riser card includes a printed circuit board (PCB) having an edge to be received by a dual-inline memory module (DIMM) connector. First conductive contacts proximate to the edge of the PCB are to be received by the DIMM connector, enabling the first conductive contacts to couple with contacts of the DIMM connector. Second conductive contacts on a face of the PCB are to couple with a first compression attached memory module (CAMM) via a first compression mount technology (CMT) connector. The adapter card includes conductive traces on or in the PCB between the first conductive contacts and the second conductive contacts to couple the CAMM with the DIMM connector.

Proposed is a terminal coupling structure of an electric actuator in which a press rib is installed on the end of a contact plate such that a contact protrusion and a motor assembly terminal are more securely in contact with each other.

The present disclosure concerns a connector system, e.g., for connecting an electrical component with a circuit board. The connector system includes an electrical heater-function-component having an electrical component-contact-surface for an electrical connection of the electrical heater-function-component. A circuit-board having an electrical board-contact surface is provided for an electrical connection of the circuit-board. A connector assembly connects the heater-function-component with the circuit-board. The connector assembly is arranged at the electrical component-contact-surface and the electrical board-contact-surface for connecting the heater-function-component with the circuit-board.

A socket actuation mechanism for package insertion and package-socket alignment, including: a socket frame comprising a plurality of first hinge portions; a carrier frame comprising: a center portion comprising one or more package interlocks; and a tab extending from a first end of the carrier frame, the tab comprising a second hinge portion couplable with the plurality of first hinge portions to form a hinge coupling the carrier frame to the socket frame.

An electrical connection structure includes: a first unit including a terminal; and a second unit including a connection terminal. The electrical connection structure is configured by mounting the second unit to the first unit such that the connection terminal is electrically connected to the terminal. The terminal has a plate-shaped tab. The connection terminal includes a receptacle formed with a connection groove into which the tab is inserted, and a spring contact provided on inner side surfaces of the connection groove. The spring contact comes into elastic contact with outer surfaces of the tab inserted into the connection groove.

A socket includes a housing and a plurality of contacts. The housing is formed in a box-shape with an opening and is provided with a matrix of through holes at a bottom portion. The plurality of contacts includes ground contacts and signal contacts which are arranged so as to be aligned alternately in a predetermined array direction by one or a plurality of them and are passed through the through holes. The ground contacts adjacent to each other in the array direction are short-circuited.

This application discloses a circuit board and a manufacturing method of the circuit board. The circuit board includes a signal transmission pin pad configured to connect with signal transmission pins of an external same kind connectors to transmit a signal, and fixing pads configured to fix fixing pins of the connectors. A number, location, and size of the fixing pads are matched with a same kind connector. The same kind connector is a connector with a same number of signal transmission pins and a same distance of pins. The number of the fixing pads is greater than or equal to a maximum number of fixing pins of the same kind connector.

An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a CPU. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a receiving cavity, and a plurality of contacts retained to the housing with corresponding contacting sections exposed in the receiving cavity. A first securing piece is attached upon the CPU, and a second securing piece is attached upon the housing. When the CPU is received within the receiving cavity, the first securing piece is locked with the second securing piece so as to have the CPU retained to the connector in position wherein the corresponding contacts of the electrical connector are mechanically and electrically connected to the corresponding contacting pads of the CPU in a compression manner reliably.

Methods and apparatus that can allow an electronic device housed in a protective accessory to communicate with another electronic device, and are readily manufactured. An example can provide a connector assembly that can include a number of top contacts electrically connected to a corresponding number of bottom contacts. The top contacts can be spaced at a first pitch while the bottom contacts can be spaced at a second pitch, the second pitch different than the first pitch.
