A clamp for establishing an electrical connection with a conductor is provided. The clamp comprises a first body and a second body. The second body is pivotally coupled to the first body. The first and second bodies define a receiving region therebetween for receiving a conductor. The first and second bodies are biased towards each other at the receiving region to clamp a conductor. The clamp also comprises a shutter, movably coupled to one of the first body and the second body. The shutter is biased into a restricting position in which entry into the receiving region is restricted.

A battery charger includes a processor; a non-transitory memory device; a power management device to receive an input power and to output a charging current; a pair of electrical conductors to electrically couple with a battery, and a display electrically coupled to the processor. The display being configured to indicate a bad battery indicator when the battery has a low state of health and whether the battery is good to start.

Electrical contact appearance and protection

Methods of coating contacts to have a specific color. The color can be selected to match a color of a portion of a device enclosure for an electronic device housing the contacts. Examples can instead provide methods of coating contacts to have a color to contrast with a color of a portion of the device enclosure. These methods can provide electrical contacts having a low contact resistance and good corrosion and scratch resistance.

The inner conductors of the plurality of the cables are electrically connected with the plurality of the contact pads, the shielding layer of each cable is mounted in one grounding element. The shielding layer of each cable is clamped between the two clamping portions of the one grounding element.
