20230071830 · 2023-03-09 · ·

An electrical connector has a base, a first power terminal, a second power terminal, and multiple signal terminals. The base has a connecting portion having a flat face divided into a first region and a second region. The first and the second power terminals are disposed within the first region of the connecting portion. The multiple signal terminals are disposed within the second region of the connecting portion. At least one signal terminal is apart from the first power terminal by a first distance, and at least one of the other signal terminals is apart from the second power terminal by a second distance. The second distance is larger than the first distance. Arrangement of the first power terminal, the second power terminal, and the multiple signal terminals prevents the first power terminal, the second power terminal, and the multiple signal terminals from interfering with one another.

A busbar portion includes a busbar conductor and a busbar end which is integrally formed with the busbar conductor. The busbar end has a connection portion. The connection portion is configured for being plugged to a mating connector to establish an electrical connection. The busbar end further incorporates a retention means which is configured to engage with a corresponding retention means to receive pull forces being imposed on the busbar portion in a direction opposite to a mating direction.

PCIE/SAS FEMALE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR

A Peripheral Component Interconnect Express/Serial Attached SCSI (PSAS) female connector includes a frame member, a terminal member, and a cover member; the frame member including a terminal groove disposed in the frame member and a tilt portion disposed in the terminal groove adjacent to a plug end; the terminal member inserted in the frame member and including a Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 7 pin terminal, a Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) 40 pin terminal, a 15 Pin signal terminal, a 6 Pin terminal, and a 4 Pin terminal. When the PSAS female connector is engaged with the male connector, the SATA 7 Pin terminal and the SAS 40 Pin terminal are pressed by a terminal of the male connector to be bent toward an outer lateral side of the terminal groove to contact the elastic plate of the cover member. The present invention effectively improves the cross interference during high speed transmission, thereby achieving the Generation 5 performance requirement.

CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR VIDEO TRANSMISSION CABLE
20230064534 · 2023-03-02 · ·

A connector assembly for a video transmission cable is configured to completely eliminate a clearance between connectors when a first connector and a second connector are fastened, maintaining a contact state of connector terminals even under conditions of vibration or shock.

Cable end connector with high retaining force

A cable connector configured to secure a cable is provided. The cable connector has a casing, a latch, and a pulling member. The casing is configured to secure an end of the cable. The latch has a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion is secured on the casing and has a lower through hole. The upper portion has at least one upper through hole and at least one protrusion. The pulling member is connected with the upper through hole and penetrates the lower through hole. While the pulling member is pulled away from the latch along a first direction, the pulling member pulls the upper portion toward the lower portion along a second direction, so as to adjust a position of the protrusion. Thus, the latch may not be separated from the casing when a user pulls the pulling member.
