Battery pack assemblies having terminal connector mechanisms and vehicles having the same
A battery pack assembly includes at least one battery cell and a terminal connector mechanism. The at least one battery cell has at least one terminal which includes a terminal engagement portion. The terminal connector mechanism has a retention member and a biasing member. The retention member has retention portion and is configured to move between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The biasing member is positioned between the housing and the retention member to bias the retention member towards the engaged position. In the engaged position, the retention portion of the retention member engages with the terminal engagement portion to inhibit movement of the terminal connector mechanism. In the disengaged position, the retention portion of the retention member is disengaged from the terminal engagement portion to permit movement of the terminal connector mechanism.
BUSBAR PORTION
A busbar portion includes a busbar conductor and a busbar end which is integrally formed with the busbar conductor. The busbar end has a connection portion. The connection portion is configured for being plugged to a mating connector to establish an electrical connection. The busbar end further incorporates a retention means which is configured to engage with a corresponding retention means to receive pull forces being imposed on the busbar portion in a direction opposite to a mating direction.
FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ARRANGEMENT
There may be provided a fastener arrangement. The fastener arrangement may include a first fastener tape including a first plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a first plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements. The fastener arrangement may further include a second fastener tape comprising a second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling element. The fastener arrangement may further include a slider couplable to the first fastener tape and the second fastener tape for reversibly interleaving and interlocking the first plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive coupling elements with their corresponding second plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive elements. The interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of conductive-bridges and the interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of insulation-bridges.
FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ARRANGEMENT
There may be provided a fastener arrangement. The fastener arrangement may include a first fastener tape including a first plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a first plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements. The fastener arrangement may further include a second fastener tape comprising a second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements and a second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling element. The fastener arrangement may further include a slider couplable to the first fastener tape and the second fastener tape for reversibly interleaving and interlocking the first plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive coupling elements with their corresponding second plurality of electrically conductive and non-electrically conductive elements. The interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of conductive-bridges and the interleaved and interlocked first and second plurality of non-electrically conductive coupling elements may form a plurality of insulation-bridges.
CONNECTOR
A connector is mateable with a mating connector. The connector comprises a housing and a terminal. The terminal has an arm, a contact portion and a held portion held by a holding portion of the housing. The arm couples the held portion and the contact portion to each other and supports the contact portion so that the contact portion is movable. The contact portion has a bottom portion, a first support portion, a second support portion, a first contact point and a second contact point. Each of the first support portion and the second support portion extends upward from the bottom portion. The first contact point is supported by the first support portion. The second contact point is supported by the second support portion. Under a mated state, a mating terminal of the mating connector is sandwiched and held between the first contact point and the second contact point.
CONNECTOR
A connector is mateable with a mating connector. The connector comprises a housing and a terminal. The terminal has an arm, a contact portion and a held portion held by a holding portion of the housing. The arm couples the held portion and the contact portion to each other and supports the contact portion so that the contact portion is movable. The contact portion has a bottom portion, a first support portion, a second support portion, a first contact point and a second contact point. Each of the first support portion and the second support portion extends upward from the bottom portion. The first contact point is supported by the first support portion. The second contact point is supported by the second support portion. Under a mated state, a mating terminal of the mating connector is sandwiched and held between the first contact point and the second contact point.
SOCKET CONNECTOR
An island-like part includes an island-like main part, and two island-like end parts adjacent to the island-like main part in a pitch direction of a plurality of socket contacts. Each of the island-like end parts has an upper surface, an outward lengthwise side surface facing outward in the pitch direction, and two crosswise side surfaces facing in the width direction. Each of the protective metal fittings includes an upper-surface protective part covering an upper surface, an outward protective part extending downward from the upper-surface protective part and covering the outward lengthwise side surface, and two lateral protective parts extending downward from the upper-surface protective part and covering the two crosswise side surfaces, respectively. The outward protective part and the two lateral protective parts are directly connected to each other without the upper-surface protective part being interposed therebetween.
Connector assembly and electronic apparatus including connector assembly
Provided is a connector assembly including a first connector including a first terminal on a bottom surface thereof, and a first contact portion being a part of the first terminal and a projection portion on a surface opposite to the bottom surface; and a second connector including a second terminal on a bottom surface thereof, and a second contact portion being a part of the second terminal, the second contact portion being configured to be electrically connected to the first contact portion, and a groove portion configured to receive the projection portion, on a surface opposite to the bottom surface, wherein at least a part of a surface of the projection portion is in intimate contact with a part of a surface of the groove portion, and each of the first and second connectors is an integrally-molded product including an insulating member and a conductive member.
Shielded Board-to-Board Connector
A board-to-board connector for connecting printed boards to each other includes a receptacle comprising a plurality of signal contact elements to be electrically connected to one of the printed boards, and a plug comprising a plurality of signal contact elements to be electrically connected to the other of the printed boards, wherein each of the signal contact elements of the plug is in contact with the corresponding signal contact element of the receptacle when the plug has been inserted into the receptacle. The receptacle comprises an electromagnetic interference shield which continuously or discontinuously surrounds the plurality of signal contact elements of the receptacle, and the plug comprises an electromagnetic interference shield which continuously or discontinuously surrounds the plurality of signal contact elements of the plug.
CONNECTOR PACKAGES FOR FASTENERLESS CIRCUIT COUPLING
A system for high-voltage interconnecting and interfacing can include: a package for a circuit, wherein the package comprises a housing for the circuit; and a gate connector located centrally on a face of an exterior surface of the housing, wherein the gate connector enables wiring outside the package to couple to the gate connector from any of a plurality of directions. In certain embodiments, the package for the housing further comprises a pressure applicator about an exterior surface of the housing; and the system further comprises a leadline that extends from the circuit within the housing and beyond the exterior surface through an aperture in the housing, wherein the leadline can be deformed over the pressure applicator at the exterior surface such that the pressure applicator can apply pressure to the leadline against a contact surface of a second structure.
