A system for electrically and mechanically connecting an electrical cord and a medical device includes: a cord-side connector including a cord connecting surface, a cord-side conductive portion, and at least one protrusion extending from an intermediate surface; and a device-side connector including a device connecting surface, a device-side conductive portion, and a recess configured to slidably receive the cord-side connector in a sliding direction, the recess including at least one slot configured to slidably receive the at least one protrusion to guide the cord-side connector in the recess in the sliding direction, where the at least one protrusion and slot are configured to form a mechanical connection through an interference fit upon slidable receipt of the at least one protrusion into the at least one slot, and the cord-side conductive portion and the device-side conductive portion are configured to contact each other upon formation of the interference fit.

The present invention provides a connector for push-connecting a cartridge containing vaporizable material, such as a 510-cartridge, to a power-supplying device. The connector includes a housing containing electrical contacts, a cartridge-receiving end for receiving a conductive end of the cartridge, and a flexible, preferably silicone, ring connected to the cartridge receiving end of the housing for retaining the conductive end of the cartridge inserted therethrough against the electrical contacts. The ring is preferably part of a silicon boot that houses the housing.
Push connector for vape cartridges
The present invention provides a connector for push-connecting a cartridge containing vaporizable material, such as a 510-cartridge, to a power-supplying device. The connector includes a housing containing electrical contacts, a cartridge-receiving end for receiving a conductive end of the cartridge, and a flexible, preferably silicone, ring connected to the cartridge receiving end of the housing for retaining the conductive end of the cartridge inserted therethrough against the electrical contacts. The ring is preferably part of a silicon boot that houses the housing.

An electronic apparatus that is capable of reducing occurrence of malfunction when an accessory is attached without enlarging an accessory shoe device. The electronic apparatus includes an accessory shoe device and a controller. The accessory shoe device is electrically connectable with an accessory and has terminals that are arranged in a line in a first direction that intersects perpendicularly with an attaching direction of the accessory. The controller is electrically connected to the terminals. At least one of the terminals differs from the other terminals in a length of an externally exposed part in a second direction that intersects perpendicularly with both the attaching direction and the first direction.
