COMBO CONNECTOR

A connector configured to provide signal and power connections reliably and economically in a compact space. The connector may include terminals each comprising a mating portion and a mounting portion opposite the mating portion. The terminals may be arranged with multiple rows of signal terminals and power terminals aligned in one row and on opposite sides of the signal rows. The mounting portions of the terminals may be configured to receive cables in some embodiments, and mount to a board in some other embodiments.

The inner housing is movable relative to the outer housing to accommodate misalignment of the busbars in the terminal cavity. A terminal is received in the terminal cavity having a terminal base, an upper mating end and a lower mating end. The upper mating end includes an upper socket flanked by upper spring beams that receives the first busbar and the lower mating end includes a lower socket flanked by lower spring beams that receives the second busbar. The terminal is movable in the terminal cavity to accommodate misalignment of the first busbar and the second busbar in the terminal cavity.

A wiring member includes: a connector housing provided with a cavity; an electric wire in which one end portion is housed in the cavity and the other end portion extends outward from an opening portion of the cavity; a sealing component that is attached to the connector housing or the electric wire to at least partially close off a gap between the connector housing and the electric wire in the opening portion of the cavity; a resin molded part that covers a portion extending from a rear end portion of the connector housing to a position of an intermediate portion of the electric wire on the other end portion side relative to a portion provided with the sealing component.
