A shield connector is provided with a housing including a module accommodation chamber and a terminal module to be inserted into the module accommodation chamber from behind the housing. The terminal module is formed such that an inner conductor is surrounded by a dielectric and the dielectric is surrounded by an outer conductor. The outer conductor includes a projecting portion projecting from a position rearward of a front end of the outer conductor on an outer surface of the outer conductor. An inner wall surface constituting the module accommodation chamber has a facing inner surface facing the outer surface formed with the projecting portion. The facing inner surface is formed with a projection-like backlash eliminating portion. The projecting portion is arranged behind the backlash eliminating portion with the terminal module inserted in the module accommodation chamber.

TESTING HEAD COMPRISING VERTICAL PROBES

A testing head for testing a device includes a couple of plate-like supports separated from each other by a suitable gap and provided with respective guide holes to slidably house a plurality of contact probes, each including a rod-like body extending along a preset longitudinal axis between a first and second ends, the first end being a contact tip that abuts a contact pad of the device and the second end being a contact head that abuts a contact pad of a space transformer. At least one of the supports comprises a couple of guides that are parallel to each other and separated by an additional gap and provided with corresponding guide holes. Each contact probe comprises a protruding element or stopper originating from a lateral wall and realized in correspondence of one wall of a guide hole of the guides contacting the lateral wall of the contact probe.

Connector

In a connector, a contact includes: a first connection portion and a second connection portion that are retained between a first insulator and a second insulator and face each other; and a pressing force receiving portion that makes contact with the second insulator and receives a pressing force from the second insulator to thereby press the first connection portion against the second connection portion. A connection object is sandwiched between the first connection portion and the second connection portion, and at least one of the first connection portion and the second connection portion makes contact with a flexible conductor of the connection object, whereby the contact is electrically connected to the flexible conductor of the connection object.

Connector housing with locking cover

A connector housing includes a body and a cover mounted on a top portion of the body. The body has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers arranged in a row and a first engagement portion formed on a top surface of each wall at a left side and a right side of each terminal receiving chamber. The cover has a first aperture corresponding to the first engagement portion. The first engagement portion engages the first aperture to lock the cover to the body.

GAS SENSOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A gas sensor includes a sensing element having an electrode pad a metal terminal, and a separator that has insertion holes in which the metal terminal is held. The metal terminal includes a main body and an elastic portion that is integrally connected to the main body and is elastically connected to the electrode pad at a predetermined contact point. The main body includes a front-end-side restricting portion and a rear-end-side restricting portion that restrict the movement of the main body by contacting wall surfaces of the insertion hole when the main body moves in a direction intersecting the direction of an axial line. The contact point is located between the front-end-side restricting portion and the rear-end-side restricting portion in the direction of the axial line. The front-end-side restricting portion and the rear-end-side restricting portion are connected to each other so that a flat board portion is interposed therebetween.
