Electrical safety plug
Examples provide an electrical safety plug including a nonconductive plug body. A set of pins conform to a set of pin connector slots in an electrical outlet. A tether is threaded through a tether connection aperture in an anchor couple. A first inter-locking device on the anchor couple removably attaches to a second inter-locking device on a return couple having an attachment member. The first interlocking device disengages from the second interlocking device to separate the anchor couple from the return couple during use. The anchor couple attaches to a part of a case during use create tension in the tether. The tension pulls an electrical harness in a direction of an attachment point of the tether. The nonconductive plug body covers the set of pin connection slots and the tether pulls the electrical harness away from a base member.
Powered wall plate with adjustable plug prongs
A powered wall plate has a wall plate, an electrical circuit, at least two electrical plug prongs, and at least one mounting screw aperture. The wall plate has a front surface opposite a rear surface, as well as at least one opening extending through the front surface and the rear surface and sized to expose a first electrical receptacle of an electrical device therethrough. The electrical circuit is located between the front surface and the rear surface. The at least two electrical plug prongs are coupled to the electrical circuit within the wall plate and extend away from the rear surface of the wall plate. In addition, the at least two electrical plug prongs are configured to removably mate with a second electrical receptacle of the electrical device. A distance between the at least one mounting screw aperture and the at least two electrical plug prongs is adjustable.

Fail proof electrical connector apparatus for solar photovoltaic modules
A fail proof electrical connector apparatus offers a unique structure for solar photovoltaic (PV) system installations. The apparatus includes a compact connector enclosure that can be installed at flexible locations of a solar module. The tabs of the connector enclosure connect to various solar cells of the module. The insertion pins of the tabs are mounted inside plugs of a pin connector, which connects to a cable. The cable comprises a one-plug end and a multiple-plug end with a wire connecting both. Of the two or more plugs of the multiple-plug end, only one active plug is electrically connected to the wire. The cable is connected to the module with the active plug being inserted to a center plug of the pin connector, and the one-plug end connected to an outer plug of the pin connector of an adjacent module, thus, achieving fail proof, reliable installations while saving labor hours.
DUMMY PLUG AND DUMMY PLUG STRUCTURE
The present invention provides a dummy plug that can be automatically corrected to a normal orientation, and a dummy plug structure. A dummy plug (10) is provided with a square fitting part (12) extending in the longitudinal direction. The square fitting part (12) has four corner sections (15) at diagonal positions about the axis in the longitudinal direction. Each of the four corner sections (15) has a chamfered section (17) outwardly expanding rearward and having a rearwardly tapering width dimension in the direction about the axis. Each chamfered section (17) has a ridgeline section (18) extending in the longitudinal direction and protruding outward. Each ridgeline section (18) is inclined so as to be offset further in one direction about the axis as the ridgeline section (18) extends rearward.
Protective cover devices for protecting electrical connectors in industrial equipment
Protective cover devices for associated electrical connectors include a one-piece molded polymeric body including at least one of: (i) at least one stud that is closely slidably received into a corresponding socket of the connector; (ii) a skirt that comprises a recess that receives at least part of the electrical connector therein. The protective cover device is adapted to be engaged with the associated electrical connector to inhibit contact between a surrounding corrosive atmosphere and at least one electrical contact of the associated electrical connector.
