A cover for an electrical outlet socket comprises a socket cover that has prongs that fit into the power receptacles of a standard electrical outlet socket. A connection device is used to mount the cover to an electrical outlet faceplate. The connection device comprises a mount for mounting the cover to the electrical outlet faceplate, a support arm that connects the socket cover to the mount, and a living hinge between the socket cover and the connection device. The mount has an opening to receive the existing screw from the electrical outlet faceplate. Various embodiments may have multiple socket covers wherein the support arm connects both each socket cover to the mount.

The lead may comprise a quick-connect fishing tool that may be attached to a quick-connect connector attached to the signage, and the fishing tool may then be quickly removed and replaced by a quick-connect connector that is attached to the power source. The connector attached to the signage may be a male connector, and the connectors attached to the fishing tool and power source may be female connectors, or vice versa, so as to facilitate the spirit of the present invention. The design of the present invention may both simplify and reduce the time required to install signage, as compared to techniques known in the art.

The releasing component is detachably installed on the latching component and includes a resilient arm. The resilient arm abuts against the engaging portion to drive the engaging portion to disengage from the cooperating portion by operation of the resilient arm when the releasing component is installed on the latching component. The latching component at least partially accommodated inside the connecting port covers a front opening of the connecting port, and removal of the latching component requires the releasing component. It not only prevents outside dust particles or substances from entering into the connecting port but also prevents an unauthorized connection of the connecting port.

Functional dummy plugs are contemplated to broaden the functionality.
