Electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector assembly that can quickly and easily be secured to two electrically conductive structures, such as a flat flexible conductor having multiple electrically conductive traces and a printed circuit board having multiple electrically conductive traces, without the use of specialized tools and/or methods is disclosed. The electrical connector assembly includes a housing having a plurality of slots defined therein. An electrical contact is disposed within each of the plurality of slots. Each electrical contact includes a first portion engaged with the housing, a second portion adapted to engage the first electrically conductive structure when inserted within the housing, and an intermediate portion located between the first portion and the second portion and adapted to engage the second electrically conductive structure when inserted within the housing.
Short-circuit probe, plug-in connection with such a short-circuit probe and a method for producing such a short-circuit probe
A short-circuit probe for short-circuiting an inner conductor with an outer conductor in a multiway coaxial plug includes an electrically-conductive contact spring comprising a holding and stabilizing section and a contacting section. The contacting section is bent and comprises an inner-conductor contact section and an outer-conductor contact section. A housing comprises: a receiving space; an inner-conductor insertion opening in a first end face, via which the short-circuiting inner conductor of the multiway coaxial plug can be inserted into the receiving space and can be brought into contact with the inner-conductor contact section; and a laterally and/or radially aligned outer-conductor contacting opening, wherein the outer-conductor contact section of the contact spring passes through the outer-conductor contacting opening and can be brought into contact with the outer conductor. The contact spring is arranged inside the receiving space and extends over a predominant length of the housing.

FIELD TERMINABLE ETHERNET CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRAL TERMINATION CAP
A connector has a plug housing and a termination cap housing assembly pivotably attached to the plug housing. The termination cap housing assembly has a pair of contacts secured thereto such that pivoting the termination cap housing assembly to the plug housing terminates the contacts to a pair of wires inserted into the plug housing.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY
An electrical connector and assembly are provided. The electrical connector includes an insulative base and terminal columns. Each terminal column includes ground terminals and differential signal terminal pairs, the terminal columns are spaced apart from each other. Each ground terminal has a body portion and three elastic contact portions. Each signal terminal of each differential signal terminal pair has a body portion and an elastic contact portion. In two adjacent terminal columns, orthographic projections of the two elastic contact portions of each differential signal terminal pair are positioned within a range defined by a width of the elastic contact portions of the corresponding ground terminal, and an orthographic projection of the elastic contact portion positioned in a middle of each around terminal in the second direction is positioned within a range defined by a width of the two elastic contact portions of the corresponding differential signal terminal pair.

ELECTRICAL CORD CAP WITH EASY CONNECT HOUSING PORTIONS
An electrical connector body is provided includes first and second housing portions formed from molded plastic. The housing portions include first and second interface surfaces that are configured to butt against one another to define a housing and one or more electrical components are disposed within an interior of the housing. The one or more electrical components may comprise connectors of a male or female cord cap, an in-line surge suppression circuit, and/or a compact automatic transfer switch. In one implementation, each of the first and second connector body portions may include a strain relief extension for engaging an electrical cord and a compression member (3691) may be disposed over the strain relief extensions to secure together the first and second connector body portions. The compression member may be selected from a set of compression members based on a size of the electrical cord.
Tamper-resistant nightlight
A tamper resistant nightlight for placement in an electrical receptacle, the nightlight includes a body that has a base with an LED circuit and plug blades extending from the body. A housing includes a locking element configured to restrict a child from removing the nightlight from the electrical receptacle through a flange that extends away from the body to be positioned behind a rear surface of an electrical wall plate associated with the electrical receptacle to prevent the tamper resistant nightlight from being removed from the electrical receptacle while the electrical wall plate is coupled to the electrical receptacle.
