Multipurpose wire connection device
A multipurpose wire connection device includes a base plate, a conductive plate, a wire fixation screw, a fireproof box, a support, and a dustpan-shaped housing. The support is disposed on the base plate. The fireproof box includes a rear panel, a bottom panel, two side panels, and an inserted plate. The wire fixation screw is mounted on the conductive plate. The housing is fixed on the bottom plate by a housing fixing screw. The multipurpose wire connection device prevents sparking and red burning of a ground screw when lightning current passes therein, due to corroded contact in long-term exposure to wind and rain. It avoids fire and explosion accidents. It avoids screw corrosion and facilitates ground resistance measurement. The multipurpose wire connection device can also be used for electrical relay, division, and branching. It prevents fire, explosion, rain intrusion, and rust development. It is easy to disassemble.
TERMINAL-EQUIPPED ELECTRIC WIRE
A terminal-equipped electric wire includes an electric wire in which a core wire made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy is covered with a covering, and a terminal fitting made of copper or a copper alloy and crimped to an end portion of the electric wire in which the core wire is exposed. The terminal fitting includes a pair of crimp pieces. End portions of the pair of the crimped portions are crimped in a state where the end portions of the pair of the crimped portions are overlapped with each other, so as to cover a surrounding of the electric wire from a leading end of the core wire to a part of the covering. At least the pair of the crimp pieces have top surfaces, bottom surfaces and side surfaces covered with anti-corrosive plated layers.

Terminated electric wire and method for manufacturing terminated electric wire
A terminated electric wire includes an electric wire that includes a core wire including a metal having an ionization tendency larger than that of copper and being exposed from an end portion of the electric wire, and a terminal that includes copper or a copper alloy and is connected to the exposed core wire. A surface treating layer includes a surface treating agent that is in liquid form or in paste form and whose molecular structure contains an affinity group having an affinity for the terminal and a hydrophobic group having hydrophobicity, and is formed on a surface of the terminal. As a result, the electrolytic corrosion resistance of the terminated electric wire is improved.

CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRATED HEAT SINK
A receptacle connector defines a port. The port is provided with spring fingers that are configured to engage a mating module. The spring fingers are thermally coupled to a heat transfer plate that can be configured to provide part of a cage that defines the port. Fins can be mounted on or integrated into the heat transfer plate. In operation, thermal energy from an inserted module is transferred from the module to spring fingers and then to the heat transfer plate and then to a thermal dissipation system.

Cable load transfer apparatus and methods for seismic data acquisition
A connector for a cable having a core stress member surrounded by a secondary stress member may include a connector body, a wedge, a retainer, a molded body, and a collar. The connector body may have at least one flow channel formed on an inner surface of the distal end and at least one radial hole providing fluid communication to the at least one flow channel. The wedge is disposed in a pocket of the connector body and is attachable to the core stress member. The molded body surrounds the distal end, fills the at least one flow channel, and attaches to the secondary stress member. The collar may at least partially enclose the connector body.

Connector housing module with a sealing ring and connector housing comprising such a connector housing module
Disclosed is a connector housing module which comprises a housing body having a housing body end region, which surrounds an opening in said housing body, and having a sealing ring, a lateral face of said housing body end region being in detent engagement with a lateral face of the sealing ring. A connector housing is also disclosed. The connector housing comprises a connector housing module and a hood, wherein an end face of the hood surrounding an opening in said hood, when the hood and the housing body are in a closed state, in part directly contacts an end face of the housing body end region and in part presses a curved edge of a bulge of the sealing ring so that the bulge is completely interlockingly engaged with a recess of the housing body, thereby improving the electromagnetic shielding capacity and the water tightness of the entire connector housing.
