Various connector systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed that can improve connectors and/or connections within an in-flight entertainment system to be at least more resilient to vibration, shock, and/or liquids. Connector boots are disclosed herein that can be coupled to a cover plate of an electronic box of an in-flight entertainment system to improve the connection between a connector plug and a receptacle of the electronic box. A cushion component and a clip are disclosed herein that can improve the connection between a connector plug and a receptacle of a monitor. Methods of disposing components of a connector plug in foil, tape, and/or heat shrink are disclosed herein that can improve resistance to liquids. Connector boots are disclosed herein that can be coupled to an in-line disconnect box to improve connections to connector plugs.

An electrical connector for an aircraft power system includes: a first electrical contact; a second electrical contact; a housing; and a fixing element, the fixing element extending through the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact to connect the first electrical contact to the second electrical contact, wherein the housing surrounds the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact, the housing comprising electrical insulation to electrically insulate the first and second electrical contacts from an exterior of the housing.

An electrical connector for an aircraft power system includes: a first electrical contact; a second electrical contact; a housing; and a fixing element, the fixing element extending through the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact to connect the first electrical contact to the second electrical contact, wherein the housing surrounds the first electrical contact and the second electrical contact, the housing comprising electrical insulation to electrically insulate the first and second electrical contacts from an exterior of the housing.

An electronic device maintains a pressure adjustment function of a breathable filter. The electronic device includes a connector that includes a connector housing that closes an opening portion of a housing accommodating a circuit board and holds a connection terminal enabling electric connection of the circuit board to an external connector and a communication hole that penetrates the connector housing and allows an internal space and an external space of the housing to communicate with each other, and a filter attached to the connector housing to cover a first opening that opens in the communication hole on an internal space side of the housing. The connector housing has a shielding wall surrounding the periphery of the second opening of the communication hole that opens to the external space side of the housing and protrudes toward the external space side of the housing from the second opening of the communication hole.

A connector part for a charging system for charging an electric vehicle includes: a plug-in portion for plugging connection to a mating connector part; at least one electric plug contact disposed on the plug-in portion so as to transmit a charging current; at least one busbar electrically connected to the at least one plug contact, the at least one busbar being connectable to a load conductor and having a face portion extending flat along a plane; and a cooling unit having a housing disposed on the face portion for conducting a coolant flow, the housing being open at a side facing the face portion, an electrically insulating separating layer being disposed between the housing and the face portion, the face portion being disposed on a first side of the separating layer so as to flow the coolant flow on a second side of the separating layer.

A connector part for a charging system for charging an electric vehicle includes: a plug-in portion for plugging connection to a mating connector part; at least one electric plug contact disposed on the plug-in portion so as to transmit a charging current; at least one busbar electrically connected to the at least one plug contact, the at least one busbar being connectable to a load conductor and having a face portion extending flat along a plane; and a cooling unit having a housing disposed on the face portion for conducting a coolant flow, the housing being open at a side facing the face portion, an electrically insulating separating layer being disposed between the housing and the face portion, the face portion being disposed on a first side of the separating layer so as to flow the coolant flow on a second side of the separating layer.
